Kids are the stars at family friendly oceanfront Daytona Beach resort
It's a good thing Wyndham Ocean Walk's condominium-style suites are suitable for extended stays. Getting the kids to leave won't be easy. In addition to the World's Most Famous Beach, the resort features a Kids Program and an elaborate pool complex with a lazy river. All rooms come with fully equipped kitchens, and the resort is adjacent to the Ocean Walk Shoppes, a modern beachfront entertainment and dining complex. Guests can zip to the Daytona Speedway in minutes. Plan a day trip to Kennedy Space Center, Disney theme parks and Universal Studios.

Unbeatable location for the price
Awesome beautiful set up, I would highly recomend this place. Usually stayed at the Adams Marks which is now the Hilton. This is just as nice or nicer and more activities without the price.

EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!!!!
This is a wonderful resort. The staff could NOT be friendlier or more knowledgeable. The ease of check-in and check-out equalled or surpassed any other facility where we've stayed. We barely had to leave the premises for anything we wanted to do. Our aim was a stress-free, fun, two-day get-away for our wedding anniversary, and we certainly achieved it at the Wyndham! We are Florida residents, so we only had an hour's drive to and from the resort, which made things that much better. The rates were wonderful for the off-season, and we were allowed to upgrade our suite at check-in without much extra expense at all. We had all the room in the world to just relax in our suite, and a host of things to explore at the resort itself. All in all, this rates as one of our best vacations ever! And we will definitely return, hopefully bringing friends and relatives with us next time....

The shops next door to the resort offer quite a variety of entertainment, dining and shopping. a short walk away are auditoriums or shows, etc. And then--of course--there's the BEACH.

good time
I was very satisfied because of the room we had We have three boys and it seemed like we where not on top of each other. We had privacy. I also like that the ocean was right thier. And the staff was great.

great location
The Wyndham was close to all the things we like to see. The first time we stayed at this hotel the room was clean but it was during spring break so it was very full long waits for the elevator.This time the room was dirty. The rug was really bad.

There is a water park across the street. and the race track is a short drive from the hotel. Ponce de Leon lighthouse is close also.

Great Getaway
My fiancee and I found that this was a great hotel to go to for a week. It had a great location on the beach and everything is in walking distance as far as restaurants and great night life. the room more then accomodated us with the kitchen and spacious living room. I would recommend the oceanwalk to anyone looking for a great vacation,

My review of Wyndham Ocean Walk
Lovely Hotel with beautiful ocean view, Very clean and neat,large one Bd with full kitchen was very cozy. Because this is time share owned property some people had complaints about service, it was a little different than a regular hotel. But everything in our unit was in good repair so no complaints from us.Loved the lazy river and the great water slide.

Too much push for Timeshares
It is a very pretty condo and you are on the Boardwalk. But it very full. Hard to find parking in parking deck and very crowded with people on pool decks and beach. Will have to fight for a chair 8;15am by pool and location by ocean to sit. Staff was polite but pushed Timeshares all the time. I was even approached at 8pm on sidewalk by cyclist trying to sell timeshares at this location. I did see quite a few upset people staying at this location--arguing about things that were upsetting them at OceanWalk. Over All a nice place but be prepared for a crowd and possibly having to use pay parking across the street (or don't move your car) and a hard push for you to listen to Timeshare at property. And don't get me started about the time it takes to check in and how long you will wait for an elevator(use the stairs--quicker) If you like a quite restful vacation--this might not be your first choice.

It is near shopping and dining. On Saturdays they have fireworks at the boardwalk and usually have a band playing at the Bandshell---it can be great fun.

Just OK
The room was large and comfortable and the location of the hotel was excellent. There was a long line to check in and the staff didn't seem to be efficient and well organized. The cleaning service was not included and was available for an extra fee. The guests are constantly bothered with phone calls and written notes trying to get people to listen to a 90 minutes time share presentation.

Great location
Comfortable, large room. Make sure you get a balcony, my fiancee and I did'nt enjoy the window view of the hallway and elevator. The location was right in the middle of everything, restaurants, bars, shopping. O yea no wifi in room, had to sit at bar or lobby.

Great Location
The Wyndham Ocean Walk was a nice, clean hotel located directly on the beach. The pools were great and the beach access excellent. It is in walking distance to many restaurants, shopping and other attractions. The room furniture was a little outdated but comfortable. The beds slept very good and the hotel was very quiet. I would stay there again and recommend it to friends and family.
