Family Spring Break Vacation
Loved the feel of this hotel. Great location.. quiet part of the beach. Great staff. Rented a car to travel to the busier part of Daytona for our teenage sons.

Lacking
This place was not worth the price I paid. Neither the TV nor telepohone worked. In addition most hotels/motels provide a microwave and a refrigerator. This place did not proviide either. The iron continuously leaked water when using it. I will not stay at this place again.

I could not have asked for a better get away, the room was perfect and the bag of smores was a wonderful finishing touch. Definately going to book here again and take advantage of the spa.

Beautiful resort.
We were traveling with our adult children. The resort was beautiful. We were in a room with a balcony that overlooked the pool. It was well worth the extra money. The other room was on the 8th floor and I was told it was very nice also.

Always a pleasure
This was our second stay here and it was just as great as the first visit. We love the fact that the back door opens up to a beautiful view of the water Nd a great place to relax. The bed is super comfy and the room is spacious. Got to say the shower is heavenly!!! You don't want to get out after a nice swim in the ocean! Love the Shores, look forward to our next visit!

Ponce de Leon park is about one hour Way near Deland. Best little restUrant where you can cook your own pancakes! Love it!!

Beware the fees!!!
Love the Shores. Have stayed here many times when in Daytona Beach. But they recently raised their pet fees to $50/day, which is a BIT excessive considering I have a 5 lb dog! Kind of works out to $10 per pound. When you compound it with $30/day resort fee, that's an additional $80 added to your room rate......As I said, love the Shores. Hate the fees, and probably won't be staying here anymore.

Wonderful Stay
Great, friendly staff! The room was awesome and the view of the ocean terrific. The kids loved the flat screen tv and dvd player. The Ipod docking station was a great touch. Our favorite part was making smores around the fire pits at night. Both children asked if we could stay there everytime we go to Daytona!

Excellent Quality Resort!
This resort was exceptional in it's quality and ambiance! The rooms were spacious and luxurious, and the views and pool area most welcoming. The spa was the only disappointment, as it's not a real Spa ( 6 rooms with expensive costs for services). We found a real Spa in Daytona Beach, a mere 3 miles away. Overall the staff were very accomodating, the free DVD rentals a plus, and the restaurant was exceptional and affordable. I look forward to returning!

The Cracked Egg Diner was great for Breakfast! A mostly local place with unbelievable food! Try the homemade corned beef hash! Never knew I loved it before this place.
