It should not be called a hotel or motel
It was inexpensive, but even at that is useless. We just opened the door and since they have a big posted sign no refund we just gave their door card back and looked for a place to stay near by.It was so dirty,smelly and run down. the worst we've ever seen.

to expensive for what you get
it was clean but you dont get much for your money. but it was bike week lots going on and everyone jacks there prices up for events.

BEWARE! Stsy at your own risk
Upon checking in we had to speak to the attendant through an old broken window covered by a sheet while standing on the outside of an old dilapidated shack. Once we open the door to room #226 it was apparent the condition of the room could and should not be occupied by a human. The smell of pesticides was overwhelming. The rug was beyond being soiled and full of cigarette burns. The water was turned off to the room because the plumbing was leaking. The bed sheets were covered in stains and the furniture was falling apart. There were no fire safety device anywhere and in many places wires were hanging out of electrical boxes. The cord to the lamp over the bed was repaired with masking tape. The bathroom was completely disgusting. We WALKED OUT but stayed at another hotel.

great bike week hotel for the price
this selection was based on price, then location. I am not unhappy, the owners are wonderful people, the rooms were clean- I do yoga so I my face was IN the floor/carpet- the place IS clean. the bathroom furnishings were just worn out, as were the door, the windows, the curtains, etc.. but I would stay there again- great value, just a but 'run out!'

hard to find a great place to eat but they are there- Tokyo steak house- sushi and saki- on Nova was great. Java joint just down the street- South- was great for Mocha.

Blue Thunder
Good not great Hotel
Good value and location near Speedway. Attended the NASCAR Coke Zero 400. It was my first trip to Daytona Beach and the Speedway.

Short drive from hotel
Watch traffic on Intl Blvd after the race. You will wait 15/20 minutes while they let fans cross the Blvd after the race.
