Plaza Resort & Spa

The Plaza Resort and Spa, Daytona Beach was an excellent place for a great vacation. The beach front room was spacious very comfortable with a sitting area, that included a sofa and 2 chairs. It also was equiped with an adequate mini kithen area. The balcony over looked the majestic white beach sands of the atlantic ocean. I was very impressed with the hotels entire staff because they were very polite and extremely helpful. The hotle is in a excellent location, just a nice walk down the beach from shops and great restaurants. What I really liked was that once you parked in the covered parking garage you really never had to move your vehicle because everything was with in walking distance from the hotel. The hotel is also a great place to relax and thats just what we did. I would and have recommended this hotel to several of my friends and family.

We were quite disappointed in this hotel. For the money, knowing that they just completed a multi-million renovation, we expected much more. The first two rooms that the hotel tried to give us had wet carpet. More then just the cold feel that you get in some places. We could not even put our luggage on the floor. Maintenance came up to the rooms and confirmed that the carpets were wet. The bathrooms are a joke. Pedestal sink, mildew in the showers, dirty towels! Some of the towels looked like they were stained with mascara, others were just dirty. Housekeeping was quick to replace them. The floors in the bathroom seemed dirty too. Looked like there was a couple of spots of blood on the floor. The kitchenette was sufficient in size, but there were no utensils or plates. We had to call guest services for that, took quite some time! The rooms are pretty, but overall would rather have had a room that the bathroom was spotless. The pool was nice, okay location from downtown Daytona.

The Plaza Resort and Spa was very comfortable. The room size was ample. The bathroom was very small. You could tell that it was an older motel that had been renovated. However, there were already holes worn in the carpet in the hallways, for example. We loved the location on the strip and close to everything in Daytona Beach. The beachfront room was worth the extra money. The kitchenette was nice and spacious. The beds and pillows were especially comfortable. We received turn down service one night with chocolates, but missed it on the other two nights. The parking was especially convenient.

This is a very nice hotel. The kitchen area comes with bowls, cups ,silverware and dish soap which was a nice touch. The bathroom is a little small but was not a problem. The only meal we ate at the hotel was the breakfast buffet which was delicious. The beach behind the hotel is amazing, soft white sand, not packed with people, the beach gets busier down by Ocean Walk. The only complaint we had was we were with 4 kids and there is not a gameroom at the hotel. Plus it was a 3 block walk to Ocean Walk, but we walked the beach instead of the street, much prettier. We Parasailed for the first time, they offer this right on the beach behind the hotel..so much fun.

The Palace Resort & Spa is a very nice hotel. The room had two queen beds and was very comfortable. The pool and beach area were great.

Our room was very nice...can be kind of noisy outside but air conditioner covered up most of the noise. Housekeeping did an excellent job...always clean towels, even at turn down service. Beds are firm but not uncomfortable...king size comes with 6 pillows! Small bathrooms but not a problem if you plan ahead. The hotel needs a hot tub, but the pool is good size and the beach is nice. Dining both in restaurant and at pool is expensive. Within walking distance of movies, shops and restaurants. All in all it was a great stay at a great hotel.

THE PLAZA WAS ANICE HOTEL FOR THE PRICE , I STAYED IN A REGULAR ROOM ,BUT IT WAS LARGE ENOUGH AND HAD LOTS OF FURNITURE.STAFF WAS VERY NICE. IF YOU CAN GET A GOOD DEAL THIS HOTEL IS THE BEST FOR LOCATION. I WILL STAY HERE AGAIN.

The Plaza Hotel and Resort is exactly that. We found our EVERY need was attented to. There was NO dirt. The airconditioning was efficient and VERY quiet. The bedding impressed us that when we returned home we purchased one for our home. We travel to Florida frequently and love Daytona Beach. This stay was the best we ever had and will probably ask to stay there next time. We did not get a chance to use the spa and excercise equipment because of our itinerary. We were sad to leave for home and can't wait to return. Keep up the great work.

The room was nice and a great view of the pool and ocean. We really liked that it had a micowave, sink and a mini frig. Which is great when you have left overs from all the wonderful restaurants. Great location on Daytona Beach. They could have cleaned around the pool alittle better though. It had some mold under the deck chairs where the water didn't drain well. Overall, we had a great vacation. We probably will stay there again.

The Plaza Resort and Spa was very comfortable, the room was fairly large with 2 beds and a table and two chairs with a small table and 2 chairs on the balcony. The bathroom was a little small with not alot of storage space, but nice and there was adequate closet space for hanging clothes. The location was very good -- it was within a short walking distance of both shopping and restaurants.
