excellent spot
We got upgraded to ocean front upon arrival to an unforgettable 8th floor ocean front view what a room didn't want to leave it!!!!

Good for a Cheap Spring Break
It was nicer than I thought it would be, the staff was friendly, the beds were comfortable, it was noisy but it was Spring Break! great location

big on hype, not sure it delivered
Pictures and listing described a gand hotel like you would see in other major cities. I found the room to be somewhat run down everything worked but it felt and looked old! staff was friendly view was great but overall uncomfortable bed and needed updating.

Not a pleasent stay!
Although the hotel staff that checked us in was very friendly, we were not @ all happy with our room. We found roaches crawling in the room & the bathroom shower was not very clean & one of the beds smelled like body odar. The only thing that was done for us was an extension of checkout time. We will never return again.

Great place to stay!
This is a great place to stay. Beautiful accommodations and very helpful, friendly staff. We were in Daytona for a college basketball tournament at the Ocean Center. Because of the location, we were able to walk everywhere we went. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Plaza Ocean Club and highly recommend it to others!

A nice place for the money
If you are looking for a modern, luxurious hotel, this is not the place for you. If you're looking for a clean, inexpensive room right on the beach and walking distance to the nightlife and restaurants - it's perfect. I would definitely stay here again.

Great price,service and spectacular view
We came to this motel to have a relaxing night sans kids and it happened. The staff was super friendly and everything was really clean in the room. The view from our 7th floor private balcony was heavenly, and I actually woke to the sound of crashing waves and the sunrise peeking through our curtains. We did have to call down for some shampoo and soap, but it was brought to us promptly. The buffet breakfast was good, but a little pricey. We are talking about bringing the kids back with us in a few weeks!

A+ View...A+ Staff...Elevators = Fail
The only thing I would complain about were the lack of elevators. It was just such a large hotel and there were only 2 elevators for the entire complex. Other than that, the place was awesome. Great view!!! Great staff!!! Great bar (we had to enjoy the bar for a day, because there was a tropical storm while we were there) Overall I would give it a 9/10

Everything is within walking distance or a short taxi drive away. Daytona Cubs minor league baseball team was an enjoyable experience!!!

Comfortable For Now, But...
Not happy about the nightly parking fee which is not customary in the Daytona area. In addition, not only did we have to pay the fee, but we had to park in an off-site lot. The room is in need of repairs. The faucetts leaked and the sliding glass door was difficult to open and would not lock.
