This vibrant resort on a breathtaking beach caters to families. Perry's Ocean Edge Resort suites have separate rooms with bunk beds, and offers a year-round Activities Program. Most rooms feature views of the ocean and 23-mile stretch of beach ideal for swimming, surf fishing, long walks and bike rides. Complimentary homemade donuts are served each morning. Shops, restaurants, a movie theater and Daytona Lagoon water park are nearby – and Daytona's famous speedway is a short drive away.

- Ocean Front Efficiency
- Enjoy fantastic ocean views from your private balcony. This efficiency features two new Serta Pillowtop queen beds and a sitting area with a sleeper sofa. - Resort Select is a Run of House room type. Featuring either two Serta Pillowtop queen beds or one King, a kitchenette and free internet access. Room assignments for Resort Select reservations are done on day of arrival and are based on available inventory. Nicely appointed standard non-oceanfront guestrooms are the norm. Oceanfront accommodations cannot be guaranteed with this room type choice.

Never again
The courtyard description was a big stretch, try "level with parking lot." Car doors obviously slamming all night, therefore guests as well. Talking in normal tones would of been nice, not so. Just loud, kids allowed to run on outdoor corridors, they were having a great time. Thank goodness it was just an overnight. Assuming this is typical beach resort, will not participate again.

Not all you expect
The hotel is a "refreshed" 1950/60's motel. It was clean and a fair value. Bathroom was tiny. Pillows were poor and the mattress need to be replaced. Pictures are better than reality.

Great place to be
This was a really great location. I went with friends and we really had a blast. It was a weekend getaway for us. The environment was condusive to relaxation. The guests were great. We had a chance to meet many people who came to the resort from different parts of the world. There were plenty of minature golf locations and waterslides around the area. There were other interesting things to do near the hotel. The mall and shopping districts were located very near the hotel as well. We spent a lot of time in the ocean enjoying the waves. I recommend this hotel to anyone who enjoys being in a quiet area where things are pretty close.

Comfortable and very adequate
My boys enjoyed the surfing and we enjoyed the ocean and the sounds of the surf, people and birds. We were very pleased with the safety provided by the emergency crews and lifeguards...they were very watchful and professional.

Visit the Top of Daytona Resteraunt for an awesome dining experience with spectacular views. The early bird specials (4 - 6) offer better prices with large servings.

Don' go on memorial day weekend
It was like one big Frat party by the pool garden section where unfortunately we stayed. The police were called 2 nights in a row due to the drunken disturbances. We left a day early due to lack of sleep. Young drinkers started at 10am poolside and continued through until 3am. It was a nightmare!We were told at the desk it happens every Memorial Day. So much for a family holiday. We had paid for 2 rooms and our families had to leave early, we were not offered quieter rooms, a mere $20.00.The garden pool had to be closed completely due to being so dirty. I would not recommend families go there on Memorial Day Weekend.

Spring Break in Daytona Fla.
The stay was realy great. Every evening if we wasn't going to a sight seeing place, we would go down and ask the staff suggestions based on what we thought we would like to do, shopping, eating, etc. and they always had good suggestions. They were always very helpful and friendly. The hotel was great and a great staff just makes it a wonderful place to stay without worry about anything.

"NOT FOR ROMANCE"
Their site says all their rooms are oceanfront private Balcony, NOT TRUE!!! We got stuck in one that had a window and it was in the garden/atrium DO NOT BE FOOLED!The worst parking Ive ever seen in my LIFE! The whole time we were there we were looking for parking. This is not a place for couples looking for a romatic getaway. They let the kids and teens hangout in the jacuzzi, which is gross to me...I didnt want to get in it after they have all been soaking their feet in it all day!
