Don't stay here

Hotel isn't clean and looks nothing like the photos. It was almost impossible to get clean towels and there was black mold on the shower curtain. I killed about 30 moths and room service never came up to vacuum them. We were there for 6 days and our room got patislly cleaned once! We were spring breakers so we really weren't looking for anything special, but this place was horrible! The location is awesome so that's the only thing going for them. If you're going with a family don't stay here because you'll hate the location. There's a nightclub right next door so you'll be hearing loud music and drunk people until 2 am.

Great location

I have stayed here several times and it seems to get worse every time. The doors are rusty and look like they would open with a good kick. Worst shower ever and the wifi was so slow I had to use the free wifi at the restaurant next door. The breakfast is a joke, toast or cereal. The bed was comfy though and every thing seemed pretty clean and the location is great if you want to be near Main street and the boardwalk.

Pleasantly surprised

After reading all the reviews, I was very nervous about staying here. When I got there the front desk girl was awesome and the lobby was nice. The elevators where very slow but got us to our floor. The breakfast was skimpy, it consist of muffins and toast. The beds were very comfortable and I slept great. Yes, there is a bar next door and there is load music but it was done by 2 am and the hotel is under renovation so you have to excuse the mess on the backside of the building by the pool. Pool was in nice shape and it was clean. I would stay there again

Avoid at all costs

Just checked out after 5 nights. Let's just say I should of booked the Hilton. The breakfast is a joke. Muffins, cereal, toast. If you don't get any by 7:30 your out of luck. I bring this up and the hotel employee just shrugged. The WiFi is very spotty. Never a constant connection. The parking is a joke. They had two monster tour buses taking about a 1/4 of the side lot. The elevators are slow. We were on the 8th floor. Get a room 5 or below. There are only 2 so just be prepared to wait. The rooms need a complete update. The bed hard as a rock. Pillows so weak its pointless to use. Carpet old, dingy, and ugly. Bathroom as small as a college dorm. Shower never warm and the weakest shower head I've ever had in a hotel. Balconies dirty with dirty furniture. Bed sheets only changed on request. The pool deck is small and never gets a full cleaning. Leaving socks, toys, cigarette buds everywhere. Plus one chair was broken and I about fell over. No shower on the beach. Just a hose with no pressure at all. If you want to swim, get in the pool before 11 or all the kids will take it over. They have a restaurant called Ocean Deck next door. If you get a view room you will hear live music until 2 am. Be warned. Good food though. If your on a budget and want to be close to the boardwalk which sucks now, here is your place. Oh and you pay a resort fee. Not worth it.

Next door is the Ocean Deck. Live music until 2 AM. Good if you like it, bad if you have an ocean view room with kids. Good drinks and specials. Rip Tides all you can eat crab legs well worth it. Get there by 5 because it stops at 7.

spring break vacation

For three young girls that just want to get away from home and want a cheap place to stay this is the one! We couldnt of had a better location and even though the room's carpet smelled a little moldy it was totally worth what we paid. Breakfast was fair but atleast there was oatmeal. It was such a great vacation we didntcare about the hotel. As long as we got to shower and get ready that's all that mattered

Good location, poor hotel

When we arrived at the hotel we were greeted by a not so friendly women at the front desk. Once getting our room keys we get up to our room only to find it is not the correct room. We payed extra money for an ocean front room with a balcony and a king sized bed. The room we walked into had two double beds no balcony and a great view of the parking lot. Needless to say I was not happy. When we went back to the front desk to tell them this was not the right room the same unfriendly women rolled her eyes at me and called the manager over who I must say was very nice. It turns out someone else had the same last name, don't you think that should have been checked? Once that was settled we got our regular room which was made only by the balcony the rest of the room was average. There is no hot tube. The bar was open twice in 7 days. Staff was rude. Elevator slow. Oh and my boyfriend got stuck on the balcony due to the door breaking so a guy from the staff had to come in and bash the door out. Besides from its location this is not a hotel I would recommend.

Maintenence needed

Hotel seems to need some maintenence, elevator very slow and rocky. Balcony door falling apart with wide opening at the bottom...not good because it's an entrance for critters and bugs. Toilet runs a long time after flushing, and major leaky fauceproblem.

If I were you I'd turn back

It took the afternoon front desk receptionist about an half hour to check us in. Wasn't friendly at all and said he was upgrading our room when I had purchased the ocean view on line and there wasn't any room for upgrade only down. The shower water went from hot to cold to hot to cold during my entire shower. The outside balcony looked as though is was ready to collapse. The pool outside looked nasty and you never saw anyone swimming, not to mention dirty wet towels laying on the ground. Oh did I mention food all over the floor inside the elevator. For the Price it sucked!!!!!
