Great location! Great Price!
Although one of the older hotels on the strip, it's VERY well kept and very clean. When they say ocean front - they mean it. Our deck/patio in our room directly overlooked the Atlantic Ocean. It was so close that if you opened the window, you could hear the waves crashing into shore. The full kitchenette in the room also came in handy. Only downfall was; there is no restaurant or small bar on site, while most other hotels in the vicinity have both. Even with that, I would definitely stay there again.

bad smell,mildew on bath tiles,mattress uncomfortable,tv not modern,patio chairs rusty,room on ground floor wit no view of the ocean & asked if i could change rooms.(told no)

Excellent getaway!
Beautiful room, friendly staff, choice of heated or non-heated pool, ocean steps from your door,restaurants nearby, boardwalk down the street, near enough Disney and other Florida attractions to drive to for the day, fairly quiet and peaceful; a good respite before getting back into the school year. Overall, it was better than I expected.

Clean, affordable & great beach
Extremely helpful staff. Clean rooms. Great access to the beach!! Shopping, restaurants and other activities a short drive. Best buy for the price. Next time we will definitely bring the kids.

nice hotel
Everyone was so nice and helpful. All you had to do was ask. The view was unbelievable. It was just beautiful. It needs a few new updates like newer tvs and maybe a restaurant. But I really enjoyed the hotel.

Short but Pleasant Stay
My partner and I traveled to Daytona with a friend who was going there for a wedding. We needed an economical, clean, and easily accessible hotel. El Caribe was a good choice for us and we enjoyed our stay. We were able to check into one of our rooms early and they notified us when the other room was available. The rooms were clean and had a great view. We were able to watch the sunrise from our bed! In addition, the staff was very friendly and helpful.
