The recently refurbished Daytona Beach Resort & Conference Center sits on the north end of Daytona's spectacular 23-mile stretch of white-sand beach. Great Girls Getaway!!
Started out in a smaller king bed sized room, where it was very hard to maneuver. Seeing though I was there with another girl, we really didn't want to sleep in the same bed. The hotel was booked the weekend we were there. So we took advantage of the Awesome Pool Deck with the view of the ocean. The bar also has decent priced drinks and food, which tastes wonderful!! Chelsea at the front desk was MAGNIFICENT and VERY HELPFUL!!! She was able to find us a room with 2 queen beds and an ocean view our 2nd day there. We also had a mishap with something going down the drain and Marty the maintenance man came to the rescue in a timely manner. Whenever we called or asked for something the staff was very quick and helpful.

Ocean Deck is a restaurant/ bar that is down by the Main St. Pier and the boardwalk. They have 2 levels. On top is a restaurant and below is a bar with live entertainment. This place is right on the beach and was very laid back and casual.

daytona vacation
excellent experience. Loved the small but updated kitchens in the room. Comfy king size bed, beautiful view of the beach and refreshing ocean. Excellent cleaning staff, front desk associates, restaurant staff and overall great experience. Will definately return and recommend this hotel to friends and famiy.

if flying into daytona and staying at the daytona resort and conference center, rent a car. dont be limited to walking distance only. much to see in the small towns on both ends of dayton area.

Good resort, nothing special
The resort is ok, there is nothing special about this resort. Even though it is a good resort, it is far from a 4 star. Since Daytona Beach is not my favorite place in the world I can't say much. IF you are coming with your family I would recommend this resort.

Great location, view, and room!
Perfect place to relax and it's directly on the beach. We were on the forth floor so the view was amazing. The rooms are nice since you can access your door from outside the hotel on the balcony. I really enjoyed the parking garage access directly on our floor as well. I was somewhat skeptical after reading a few reviews. Once we got there, I didn't see how anyone could complain. If we go back to Daytona Beach, this would be the place I would stay again!

There are so many authentic Italian eateries that are all just a short drive away. Being Italian this was a great part of Daytona Beach shores that I enjoyed.

A pleasant stay
We arrived late on a Friday nite. Check-in was a breeze with Mike. Our room was clean and comfortably cool. The staff throughout our stay was very helpful. We enjoyed local sites from the Daytona Cubs to the Chocolate Factory tour. We also rented a boat for use on the river and saw many dolphins. We also went to SeaWorld in Orlando which is a nice easy drive. Housekeeping was not as good as last year when we stayed there. It wasn't awful but wasn't the standard they had set on our previous visit. The pool area is well kept and if at the pool you must try the cheeseburgers they cook on the patio. The chicken and hotdogs looked very tempting as well. [...] takes your order and is friendy along with his two grill masters. Also look for a man they call the ambassador. His name is [...]. Although I didn't talk with him I saw him show other guests around the hotel and he is friendly and a good resource for your stay. We had one night with noisy neighbors and after knocking and asking them to keep it down (it was after 1 A.M.) had to call the front desk. [...] responded quickly and the noise was calmed within 5 minutes of calling. We took advantage of the spa and had pedicures and my wife also had a manicure. I had a massage in the past and it was awesome as well. The prices are normal resort high but the service was excellent. We will be back for future visits.

Olive Garden on S Atlantic, Friday's on S Atlantic, or Chili's on International Speedway Dr are all good places to eat. Another local favorite is DB Pickles but you better bring an appetite because they serve you large portions of great food for very reasonable pricing.
