The recently refurbished Daytona Beach Resort & Conference Center sits on the north end of Daytona's spectacular 23-mile stretch of white-sand beach. under construction...its a secret
hotel was under construction.staff gave me a room looking at a roof with 1 million a/c on it....location is bad,everything cloed at 10pm....

The sanitation & comfort ...
The sanitation & comfort of the room, parking, pools, beach & weight room was great except that the weight room required a person to be 18 years old to use the equipment. My 13 yr old son who likes to workout at home and could not use this feature even in my presents.

Non Stop Construction
The rooms/pools were nice. One thing that really bothered us was directly outside all the rooms was construction going on, NON STOP. It was extreamly aggravating and very loud, even on Saturdays. It made this expensive vacation a joke.My husband and I could not even here each other talk out on our balcony at all, ever.I'd stay again but not until the price drops.

practical with perks
enjoyed our stay. bussiness/family vacation. the kitchen was nice, but room layout was not good for cooking/bath time. it is hard to cook with the bathroom attached that caused fly away hair/toothbrushes/etc on kitchen cabinets, however, nice size refrigerator and all utensils/dishes needed for week. Housekeeping was very pleasant and efficient. Laundry facilities clean and very avaliable. Pools, workout room and beach were well kept and very much enjoyed...would have like to have some beach lighting at night. would recomend this hotel to others, we enjoyed the beach front room, but would not have liked others due to construction on the west side of hotel. Loved the towels for pool side.

Pleasant Vacation
Our stay here was pleasant. The staff was responsive to our needs. THe pool and ammenities were well kept. There was some construction on the other side of the hotel/condo but other than the taped off area and signs I never would have known it. I never heard or saw any construction taking place. My only suggestion to the hotel would be to air condition the elevators better and the lobbies of each floor (not the main floor, it was fine). The floor lobbies and elevators were very stuffy and hot. The location was very nice for the price. Overall the hotel was a pleasant experience

Plenty of beach room and good location for other attractions as well. It was only about a 10 minute ride to the Daytona Speedway attractions.

Great view of the ocean!
We were a little surprised, given what we paid for the room, that it was so dingy. The furniture was outdated and looked sunburned. The carpeting should have been tile, it had sand imbeded and just had that damp, dirty feel. We didn't spend much time (only one night), so we aren't sure about the service, etc. We were glad for a place to crash after the race that wasn't far away, but won't look to book this place again.

Denny's across the street was packed. We drove about a couple miles south to a local breakfast/diner, Steve's Famous (with a large Greek flag outside). We can do Denny's at home, and after a long drive of searching for something else, we finally hit on Steve's and it was very good.

Very friendly
We didn't stay long. We checked in at midnight and was out by 11:30; however, everyone we met was very pleasant and helpful. Parking was safe and we felt very comfortable. The location was premium - if we had stayed longer.

Great location, clean room, lots of space
The room was a small condo. There was a 2 burner stove, microwave,refrigerator, bar and 3 bar stools. All the pans you needed were provided as well as the plates, glasses and mugs. There was a large television in the bedroom, and 2 queen beds. The living room had a hide a bed couch, a chair and a table with 2 chairs where you could eat.Both rooms had sliding doors with small porches and a view of the Atlantic.The bathroom was huge with 2 sinks and a large shower. .

A fair option
The property is located in the less popular end of the beach. We had a beach front room; which would have been much nicer if it had a functioning window that we could open in the evening or a private balcony that was not a walkway for all the guests. We were in the older section (supposedly was remodeled about 4 years ago). The other section is under renovation; the rooms are much nicer.
