Excellent value for the price
Nice size room with balcony looking at the ocean. Having a small kitchen allowed for romantic dinners on the balcony. The small negative was the cleaners knocking at the door at 9:30 am and then not bothering to remove wine glasses or coffee cups on the tables. Overall, a nice experience

Not really a resort.
Before we came to this hotel we stayed at a real resort, the Hyat Grand Cypress near Orlando and the comparison between the two was like night and day. The restaurant did not look like "resort" quality. The in-door pool was adequate but nothing to write home about. The hotel advertised internet service which both my teenagers were interested in. They had a difficult time accessing the internet from out room. I called the front desk to inquire about this and was told that they would send maintenance to fix the problem. I called twice and maintenance never came. All he had to do was tell me that we wouldn't be able to access it from our room and we would have understood but he made us wait for a total of an hour for nothing which wasn't appreciated on vacation. The room itself was nice. I enjoyed the ocean front view but again, it was not "resort" quality which they advertise. Also, our room was not cleaned until very late in the afternoon. I was disheartened to see that the pool chairs were claimed very early in the morning which obviously means not enough chairs are there to support enough of the guests. When I go on vacation I don't want to spend my time searching for a place to sit. If you are looking for a resort, this is not the place for you!!

Jesus is my Best Friend.
It was good.
The hotel was really nice and we got a great deal on Orbitz. I didn't get much time to enjoy it because I was teaching at a Conference but I will be back next year and hopefully have more time then. The business center was outragiously overpriced and we had to send someone almost accross town just to make copies at a kinkos. Next year we will be bringing our own ink and printer. And I didn't like the fact that we ran out of toilet paper which housekeeping didnt replace when they were in there and then it took them two ours to get it to our room. And the Extra $40 fee that we payed upon arrival. Not happy about that but the rest of the trip was good.

If you are staying on the strip in Daytona Beach go to the Ocean Walk Shoppes and eat at Bubba Gump Shrimp. A little pricy but not too bad. The best Shrimp you can eat. Any way you want. Coconut shrimp is the BOMB!!!

Spring Break Couple Style
Our stay at DBR was outstanding! The roomy ocean view room, beach, pools, spa etc... first class! Parking was convenient. The only draw back was a lack of housekeeping. We were there for six nights and ran out of essential items and had to ask for them to be replaced. We would & will stay again! As it was we extended our stay at DBR one additional night. We wanted to see one more amazing sunrise and the beautiful moon shining on the Atlantic at night. We just didn't want to leave. Thanks DBR for a GREAT Spring Break!
