Thanksgiving gettaway

This hotel is on a quiet section of Daytona Shores south of busy Daytona Beach. The hotel is well apportioned, spotless and sits on the edge of the beach. There is a heated outdoor pool, exercise room overlooking the beach and Cricket's restaurant which serves an a la carte breakfast (good and reasonable) and lunch. There is also a free continental breakfast available . The rooms are roomy, quiet and comfortable. We had a breathtaking view from our totally glassed Oceanfront room. The personnel are most helpful and dependable. We had a wonderful time on the Holiday week and look forward to returning next time we head to the Daytona area.

Family Weekend

The hotel was very clean and well located. Staff was very kind. The restaurant "Cricket" has a unique menu with Venezuelan traditional plates which we enjoy a lot. We recommend you to try this plates!

A mini-day off

Unfortunately, my wife and I were disappointed, we booked with the thinking that it said "oceanview" when we go there we did not have an oceanview. Which was more in price than a regular view. The staff stated that it needs to say, "oceanfront" in order to get a view of the ocean, (very deceiving). Also, the complimentary breakfast was for cold food, not warm. So there were two separate dining entrance with a person standing in front of a roped area at the entrances guiding us into the free cold complimentary breakfast. Or we had a choice to forgo the complimentary breakfast if we wanted warm foods like, eggs, bacon,etc. So we opt for the warm food, thus no complimentary breakfast. We will not go back and cut our trip to just one day.

Good location at the beach

Room is ok but when it was raining the rain was pouring into our room and made the floor wet. They need to do something with this !!! They need to do better.

Great place to stay

I had a comfortable king size bed w/ a beautiful ocean view. The room had a lot of space and I didn't feel closed in. A Microwave and refrigerator was in the room for my convience, with vending machines and ice machines were on every other floor. The beach was right behind the hotel and easily accessible from the hotel

The pictures online do not match what you get. Front desk help was not very helpful. Only thing we liked was the pool and the location. Would not stay there again unless the place is updated.

Daytona Beach Oceanside

A great value for the money. The room was clean, pool immaculate, and staff very pleasant. Nice weekend getaway for the family and the unlimited free dvd rentals a plus.

Quick Trip

We were only going to be in the area for a couple of days so just wanted a nice place to stay to enjoy the beach. The hotel was clean, the room spacious enough for 3 (2 double beds). I would like to say we would stay here again but we won't. Our one requirement for a stay on the beach-and we paid extra to have an oceanfront room- is a balcony. We assumed all hotels at the beach would have one. This hotel does not. So we will not be staying here again,
