Americas Best Value Inn

While the staff may have been nice, the hotel was nothing like it was advertised. There was no internet and no kitchen. And while the hotel itself was average, it was not in the best neighboorhood. Also, the pictures are not from this hotel at all.

We got in late from a long drive. Staff was observant and friendly! We chose one of the restaurants from their in room fliers and it was great too! Clean rooms, hot showers and updated remodeling lent to a funky but appreciated decor! Overall a good value for our money and we will stay again when we travel through!

This was a surprising reservation. I needed an economical place to stay and this fit the bill. I booked t the last minute online and the staff had my reservation almost immediately. Staff was courteous. The room was neat and clean. There was a small microwave (for popcorn) and a moderately large refrigerator (but no freezer compartment). There was internet but it was not wireless. The wired connection was faster and more dependable than wireless (take your ethernet cable).

Excellent staff! Nicely furnished room and upgraded tub and shower but on further inspection, the bed sheets had holes in them from cigarette burns. That was my only complaint. I could not get the compimentary internet...no big deal.

There was no coffee maker or hair dryer. there was a bar of soap and a bottle of shampoo. There was body hair on the shower and face hair under the medicine cabinet. It was grosse. There was something tapping on the roof every 10 seconds - I counted trying to get to sleep. The lady owner tried to get me to pay for a kid deposit and then a $2 deposit to use my debit card, even though [...] already took the money from my acct. The web said free local calls, but it said on the phone that I would be charged 5o cents a call. Very trustrating to have to pay more than expected. Oh, and when I tried to confirm that check out was at 11, she said, 10 or 11 - like she wanted me to leave ASAP! I was out of there by 9 am.

Coffee pot supplied on request. Lovely family operating business. Housekeeper very friendly and accomodating. Location on busy street. I would not recommend this hotel.

Check-in process very efficient and pleasant. I attended Broadway road tour of Porgy & Bess at Bethune-Cookman College Performing Arts Center and chose hotel location in conjunction with event. Room was clean, showerhead felt great for early morning wake-up (lost an hour of sleep due to daylight savings time). In-room refrigerator and microwave was appreciated. Very comfortable mattress. Lawn chairs and picnic tables are an added feature. Hotel manager is obviously doing whatever possible to improve the property's curb appeal. Ongoing landscaping is a work in progress, but will look great when completed. If you're looking for a good night's rest (away from Spring Breakers) without amenities at a very affordable rate, this is the place.

I have been staying with this hotel for the past few years and must say that my recent stay was the best!!!! The hotel has made a 100% improvement compared to my past stays. Even with the upgrades made to the hotel, the price is still a very good value for people traveling to the area for the races. The staff was amazing, the upgrades to the hotel , the furnishings everything was wonderful. I will continue to stay at this hotel and tell all my family friends and co-workers about this hotel.

For the price,.this motel can't be beat.,good location,.easy access, neat and clean. very friendly staff. Only drawback is the lack of pool,but since we were there for bike week,it didnt matter anyway.
