Villas At Regal Palms Resort and Spa

The pool and the amenities were great, but, [...]the hotel gave us the most creepy room, the carpet, was dirty, the bathroom I call tell, the curtains of the bathroom smelled like wet dog...That's a lot of thing that a can tell you, but then the hotel send us to other room, better but late at the second day of our stay.I'm very disappointed, Our vacations were horrible[...]

this was the worst place we have ever stayed. The room was adequate; however with all the rooms upstairs and only once AC unit that didn't cool the upstairs. Trying to check in was a nightmare when the lobby is full of complaining customers. The noise level outside and the partying going on and management would not do anything to stop it.

Room looked good at first, then we saw a hole in the wall, then bugs in the garbage can upstairs and black mold coming out of the whirlpool jets. Yuck!!!

We came down for a long weekend all the way from Maryland and after driving 16 hours all we wanted to do was get in our room and lay back. The check in process was a joke. We did arrive earlier then the 4:00pm check in. We even offered to pay for an early check-in. No luck getting in early. We noticed other families waiting for their places also. Needless to say after stopping in 4 different times to see if our room was ready and we got different stories each time. It was 4:00pm when we finally got to check in but had to wait in the most ridiculous line for check in ever. There was about 30 people in front of us waiting for their places as well. Once we got in and to the townhome were were very pleased. However, I don't believe we will be staying at this resort again, since the check in process was such a mess.

The Villas at Regal Palms was a very good value for a comfortable place to stay in Orlando, especially if you like room to spread out with teenagers. The drive to any of the theme parks was no more than 20 minutes and there are plenty of restaurants and stores close by. The villas we stayed at was comfortable and tidy. This is not an ultra luxurious resort, but you would have to be a real pill to complain about the accomodations.

Enjoyed having privacy at the townhouse instead of packed in one hotel room. Saved money making breakfast. Had coffee or tea whenever you wanted. Enjoyed the heated swimming pool. Quiet and peaceful. People were out walking and enjoying the sunshine. Seemed to be secure.

would of been perfect if the resort would of had our townhouse ready on time. other than that it was great!

We found the Villa's to be as described. The location was very good for us as we explored the surrounding area's Florida had to offer. Grocery stores, wallmart and golf was very close and convenient. We spent several days enjoying the wonderful pool area, and even tried out the water slide! Every morning we had the same two birds (still don't know what type they were) visiting us for breakfast. It appeared that they made their way around the community saying hi to everyone. The only negative I can say is that the kitchen didn't seem to be stocked to well for anyone who planned on doing cooking. Only a limited pot's and pan's which were very cheap and everything burnt and stuck. I think there were only three bowls for any cooking and/or serving food. Overall, I would recommend this rental and stay there again.

The place was great, 10 minutes from area attractions, on site was nice, pool area was great, accommodations were good, not the cleanest I've ever seen, but certainly nothing to complain about. The only issue, and big issue it was the lack, and I mean LACK of costumer service! When we got there (after driving 20 hours) we did not have a reservation for whatever reason since I was holding a confimation of it in my hand...they were in no way shape or form apologetic, and really seemed to not care at all. On top of that a $10 fee per night was added which I told them was not accurate, they said absolutely it was and charged me...only to find out the next day that it was NOT accurate and somehow on the bill $10 a night for 7 nights came to $100, never did get an explanation to that, and didn't care at that point as it was reimbursed, and I was definitely tired of arguing on my VACATION. Spent a portion of my day almost every day talking to the people at the front desk, trying to get answers or resolve things. Out of everyone I talked to and there were many! Only one woman said sorry...very odd I must say. Again, the place was beautiful and I have no complaints about it, just the costumer service needs definite help!
