Location/price was the reason we chose this hotel. I don't believe this is a safe place to stay, Drug deals in the parking lot, The amount of night time noise/craziness/action is very disturbing! The night time hotel staff was rude and unhelpful. It took 5 phone calls to get a taxi ride at this location, the first taxi showed up, made a parking lot drug deal and Left!

Good on a budget
Big shower/tub. Nice ac/heater. Security walks lot at night. Friendly staff. Now the bad! Thin walls and floors. Can hear talking in adjacent rooms, and walking above. No microwave, refrigerator, safe. Wifi is $2.99 a day. Saw 4 cockroachs in my 3 day stay. No breakfast. No food in walking distance. 2 ice machines, but both are in office.

Motel 666
Good deal
This is the second winter that I stayed here -- 4 days/nights each time. At this time I travel as a middle-aged single man; my priority is to save money without putting myself in harm's way or suffering needlessly. In that regard I am well pleased. Motel rooms are expensive in South Fla. The rooms here were clean and everything worked. Staff was great. It's about a 20 - 30 minute walk to the beach. The clientele is a mix of tourists, some down on their luck folks, and a few rowdies. I always felt safe though. For the record, I did see the wild monkeys who hang by the dumpsters last year but not this year!

Motel 6 substandard
Rooms are standard for Motel 6, but are tired and odourous. Faucets give almost no water pressure and electrical sockets are so loose as to be non-effective. The place needs a good refurbishment and is definitely one of the worst M6's I have ever stayed in....

Get what you pay for
The location and price were right, so we booked for one night. The pillows smelled, the towels had black hair on them, and some of the sheets had faint stains on them. Overall, you get what you pay for...
