A Lot of Money
Price was in the mid 200's for a fairly standard motel. OK for sleep and a small continental breakfast, but not a great bargain.

My Fiance and I booked this hotel last minute. We were in Miami for the National Championship and the hotel we were staying at was horrible. Everything was great besides the mini fridge in our room not working. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff when checking in was extremely nice and helpful. They even asked if I would like a tour of their facility! When I told the front desk at check-out that the fridge wasn't working they just didn't care. All I received was a "sorry bout that" from one of the ladies. That probably wouldn't bother most people, but since I work in customer service I found it to be a little rude and poor in the customer service department. (These ladies are the only reason that they did not get a 5 on the staff rating) Other than that everything was great!!!

Nice room, nice staff, good location, but they let me down
The room was clean, and very nice, the amenities were nice but some shower gel might have been nice. Everything was nice, the staff was very nice. The only thing was that I did a wake up call which never came. I had to speak to the lady at the desk in order to reserve a shuttle ride and she took down my room number and everything, but since the 4 am wake up call didn't come, I didn't make the 5 am shuttle ride. They had my room number but nobody called the room to find out what happened. As a result, I woke up at 0620 and my flight was departing at 0705 two days after Christmas! It was just awful. We hurried, we made the 630 shuttle, and Southwest was amazing and we barely made the flight thank goodness, but I was disappointed that the staff knew my room reserved a 5 am shuttle and nobody called to find out why we werent downstairs waiting for it so we nearly missed our flight. Other than that, I recommend the hotel. Just don't count on that sort of follow up.

Grampas, about a mile away, terrific meal and homemade rolls and sticky buns with every meal! The food was just wonderful and huge portions. Go check it out!

Excellent Stay
My overall experience was that the value and comfort of this hotel make this a no-brainer when staying in the Ft. Lauderdale area. By far one of the best hotel experiences in my trips to the eastern coast of Florida.
