No Room Service
This hotel looks like an old plantation home. The rooms were clean and the grounds are well kept. My one problem was when I called for room service, I was told that they do not offer this service. For me a big disappointment, because all I wanted was some coffee brought to the room in the morning.

Long Weekend
A long weekend well spent. We brought our boat and docked it right at the seawall outside our room. Clean rooms, pleasant and helpful staff. They even helped us with finding area dining that would accomodate our dog coming along. What a gem of a location. We can't wait to return.

Weekend Swimming with Manatees
Good facility with recent renovations close to town but just enough out of it to be its own destination. Enjoyed the room, the pool/spa area & dining room. Also used the marina for renting wet suits (but was able to use and store my own kayaks for free). Dallas at the Marina was very frrendly and informative.Pet friendly hotel. Will be coming back again this week to golf!!!

Visit the freshwater springs (three sisters, Kings, Hunter) at high tide and on weekdays...to see more manatees during the winter months and a less human populated experience.

Great Get Away!
Our family spent 2 nights at the Plantation on Crystal River. The resort is beautiful, clean and very family friendly. We rented a boat (marina rates very reasonable) and spent the day fishing and watching the amazing manatees that make their winter home in this spring fed location. We look forward to a return visit to this relaxing, elegant resort!

What a deal!
We decided to switch things up this year and try a different hotel in Crystal River during Christmas break. The Plantation is beautiful, has nice rooms, friendly staff, and a super location for outdoor activities. We can't wait to visit next year.

Absolutely Beautiful !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Much to my surprise I got a GREAT DEAL on line. The grounds are beautiful. There is an extremely Large outdoor heated pool and a Hot Tub that fits at least 5 people comfortably. The food in the dining room was a bit pricey but very good. They have a separate bar /lounge area where you are able to order food off of a smaller menu. We sat near the fireplace while we sipped wine and it was delightful. There is a Gazebo on the ground that is typically used for weddings and the grounds are well manicured. There are boats to rent or trips on pontoons to take to view the Manatee. There is also volleyball net & pit as well as a crocket game set up. I used the gym a few times while I was there and the equipment is all brand new and working perfectly. They have treadmills, elliptical, recumbent bicycle, dead weights, medicine balls, and resistance machines. They have a full size bubbler in there with fresh water and towels to use. And a dial on the wall for music . Buddy the Clydesdale is out of commission now but a great guy to feed & talk to. He loves company and apples & carrots. *** I would definitely recommend this place. ;-)
