Property is located in the beautiful city of Historical Coral Gables. Shopping malls and business district are easily accessible. Nice place for corporate or leisure travelers;Companies like American Airlines, Walt Disney latin America, The Codina Grp, Chevron, IBM Corporation and many more are within walking distance from us. The hotel also offers free shuttle Port of Miami at no extra charges (pick up from the Port if if guest has a return stay at the hotel). For the convenience of our clients, Enterprise Rent a Car and a Beauty salon are on premises. The hotel offers free shuttle to /from Miami International Airport. Easy access to the Metro Rail station. Hotel offers free parking and complimentary continental breakfast.

decent hotel

clean hotel, plus that there was fridge and microwave in room; outside doesnt look like much, can see they did some upgrades inside. disappointed continental breakfast was coffee, orange juice and toast, extra cost for anything additional, was less than 10 miles from beach and mall

1 Noisy room in MIami

Shuttle service okay, checkin okay, Room extremely noisy, room next to road sounded like a freeway, could not sleep.

Best option for before/after a cruise from Miami

We were looking for a reasonably priced hotel for an overnight stay before leaving on a cruise from Miami. The price was excellent and included transfer to/from the airport and to/from the Port of Miami. Rooms were nothing extravagant, but clean and adequate. The surprise best feature may have been the excellent Greek restaurant in the lobby. Their food was excellent at a very good price.

Unbelievable hotel experience

Very very poor hotel, rooms old dirty and unconfortable. Unpleasant staff. Furthermore the reservation policy is not trasparent and tricky. In my reservation (room for a family of four people) was included breakfast, but they affirmed that breakfast was just for two. As I complained that the reservation did not specify this, they reluctantly gave the coupon for all four. Dirty breakfast room with stuff on the floor and tables not cleaned. Breakfast included only a glass of orange juice, a cup of coffee and two slices of toasted bread with some jam. At the end they asked US$ 3 for the service!!

Very Disappointed! Filthy, Hot Room.

Was looking forward to staying here after viewing the Chateaubleau website. While the lobby looked decent, what they don't tell you is they have very limited rooms in the actual "hotel"... We were told our room was actually across the street, in a small run down building. The room had a terrible musky odor, and was visibly filthy. There were disgusting fecal stains in the toilet! The headboards of the beds also had nasty stains all over them. The sliding door looked like someone tried to use a screw driver to break in, and it didn't lock. No fridge as promised. Tried turning on the AC but it only blew out hot air. The front desk was completely unwilling to help, they stated that they were fully booked and there was nothing they could do. After repeatedly being told someone would come look at the AC, I called back hours later to see where they were, and was finally told "I'm not sending anyone, we don't have anyone to send." Defiantly not a "3" star hotel, I've stayed in nicer $49 Motels.

Could not lock balconey glass door. Bathroom showing it's age. No English speaking people in sight.

we really like this hotel. Staff is always very welcoming and courteous .This Hotel is in a good location for the preis. Room have been renovated lately and they are nice and clean

don't stay here!

My husband and I wanted a hotel that would provide us with the transfers from the airport and to the cruise ship, since we were flying in and not renting a car. We didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars, but we didn't want to be in just a cheap motel so we went with a 3 star. BIG MISTAKE! There was crayon on our wall the table was pealing, there was a large piece of metal screwed into the wall where someone cut something out, and it stunk, overall the room was disgusting. The cab rides to and from the beach were $40 each way. (hence the money I would've paid to stay right in port). Upon check-in we told them that we had paid for early boarding on the ship (side note, do this it was awesome) We were able to board at 11am, but they told us they wouldn't shuttle us over there until 11am, it was almost noon when we got there. There was only us and one other couple and we both sat in the lobby waiting for almost an hour and a half. Overall I would not recommend this hotel, due to location, and unpleasant staff! Also if traveling with children, or want to swim yourself, there was beer bottles and a lot of broken glass around the pool area.

If you're trying to save money, but going to see a little of Miami before your cruise, I would recommend paying a little more for your hotel and staying closer to the beach. Save money on the cab but get a nicer hotel.
