Graced with effortless beauty and sophistication, The Biltmore Hotel is a national historic landmark located in the exclusive Coral Gables area with close proximity to Miami Beach and downtown Miami. The 273 room resort including 130 suites with its spectacular Mediterranean architecture resembles classic Italian, Moorish, and Spanish influences spread over 150-acres of tropical landscape. A favorite of world leaders and celebrities since its opening in 1926, the hotel offers a restored Donald Ross 18 hole, 71 par championship golf course, tennis courts, the largest hotel pool on the East Coast of the United States with private cabanas, a European spa, and a renowned fitness center. The hotels dining destinations include the award winning Palme d'Or, recognized by Zagat as one of the best restaurants in the country; Fontana, a traditional Italian restaurant surrounding The Biltmore courtyard and fountain; the poolside Cascade and the 19th Hole Golf restaurant. The hotel also recently unveiled its culinary academy offering an array of hands-on cooking classes for adults and children Located in Coral Gables, an elegant and upscale enclave of Miami, the Biltmore is minutes away from Miami International Airport, Downtown Brickell, Coconut Grove, the arts district of Wynwood and South Beach. Local diversions include shopping at Village of Merrick Park, Miracle Mile and Dadeland Mall as well as close by attractions including Fairchild Tropical Garden, Vizcaya and the Miami Seaquarium. Adjacent to the Biltmore is a 6,800-yard, 18-hole, par-71, championship golf course. The Biltmore Golf Course was designed in 1925 by Donald Ross, a transplanted Scotsman who was the pre-eminent golf designer of his era. The course, acknowledged as one of the finest resort layouts in the South, has always attracted dignitaries, movie stars and sport luminaries. Variety, strategy and naturalness are the most consistent traits in a Ross design. A sanctuary for the senses in the center of Miami, a place that offers peace, inspiration and profound relaxation. Perched on the 7th floor of the iconic resort, with spectacular views of the golf course, the Biltmore Spa relaxes and tunes the mind and body while stimulating the senses. The timeless feeling of the Historic Landmark hotel, rich stones and warm wood, were used throughout the Spa to create a serene and restful ambiance.

Biltmore Hotel, Coral Gables

We had a wonderful and very relaxing stay at The Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables. The pool is absolutely amazing - it is HUGE! The gym had a nice assortment of classes you could take free of charge. The spa at the hotel is top notch, very clean and professional with a variety of services offered. We ventured out for dinner one night, but really no need to leave the property if you just want to take it easy.

A Grand Dame!

It was our third stay at this gracious, pristine, stately, friendly hotel. Two bird cages greeted us in the high ceiling lobby. linking its timeless beauty to the beautiful tropical setting. Kid friendly, our grand daughter was welcomed at all times. We enjoyed an old fashioned good night's sleep and shelter at the Biltmore Coral Gables.

"WOW FACTOR!!"

My husband and I have been traveling to Miami a few times this year and have always picked a different place to stay. By far this hotel has been the best in service, elegance and relaxation. Rooms were clean, very friendly and helpful staff, food was very good. The only thing the room was maybe lacking was a coffee maker. What most rooms come with now in days this room did not. In all we would definitely come back to this hotel.

Nice hotel for golfers and scotch drinkers

I stayed here because the hotel looked grand from the photos and the location was close to the areas I needed to be for my trip. However, next time I would choose a more modern hotel closer to the beach or downtown. This was a sleepy resort atmosphere with an older crowd that I'm comfortable with. Think: old timers drinking scotch and wiskey. Not my cup of tea. That being said, the bed was VERY comfortable and the room wasn't too bad. Views of the golf course are stunning and relaxing. I guess it depends on what you're looking for.

Beautiful historic hotel

Biltmore was a beautiful hotel and a wonderful place to attend a wedding. Everything was perfect except the mini bar is ridiculously expensive and there are no coffee makers in the rooms. Food in the restaurants was astronomically priced, but delicious!!

Great trip. Beautiful hotel. Thought we'd have 2 queens, but 1 king and rollaway. Beware that they tack gratuities onto bill. Golf course was a great value. Hotel ambience fabulous; room a bit tired. Staff outstanding. Highly recommend.

Classic older hotel

Base room was poor. Needed to upgrade to mini suite to avoid mildew smell from old carpeting. After several days the hotel met my request to upgrade.
