an absolute disaster
the room was dirty and unclean, it smelled liked urine. It looked like the room was not cleaned. The door got stuck and one of the staff members kicked the door in then the door wouldn't close properly, and the members tried to tell us it was okay. I asked for a refund and had to go through a process to get a full refund. I had to go to a different hotel.

My review of Motel 6 Cocoa Beach, FL
The bath room was not as clean as it could have been, and there was a plunger left in the bath and the tub needs to be redone they don't look clean.

Walk along Coca beach to the pier you find some nice places to dine that will not break you.

The rooms air was not working
The room was to hot to sleep, the ocean was great. Check air conditioning before you stay!

Would stay again.
The room was clean, the Hotel staff was very nice and helpful.My room didnot come with a microwave oven but the staff was kind enough to bring me one. I would recomend to a friend.

Good price for just the basics
The room itself was nice overall; phone did not work (loose connection?)but staffer quicky fixed problem, one lamp missed a bulb, door was hard to open--had to quickly insert and remove card then immediately slam down handle while shoving door in. Staff courteous, quick checkout. Saw a barbecue grill outside one room, grilling presumably OK.

Waffle House next door, short walk to McDonalds, Ron Jon Surf Shop,and lots of other stores/restaurants, Beach Trolley (bus to Cocoa Beach Pier,Port Canaveral etc.) stops in front.

Unbeatable location for the price
The room was clean, the staff was friendly, and the location was great for the price. Walking distance to many places to eat and the beach.

New York Pizza place diagonally across A1A was very good. We had a lunch special of 1 slice of pizza and a drink for $3.99

Great location, okay on amenities, price
Check in clerk tried to raise the rate by $50' [...].The room ( with a refrigerator and microwave ) was good, and being poolside I was concerned about no noise but it was not too bad. Starbucks was within walking distance,as were several fast food chains and pharmacies.

Poor hotel in a wasted location
It's OK, but it is NOT a two-star hotel by any means. No clock. No shampoo. no radio. no fridge. No lobby per se, just a desk. TV cable fell out. Killed a couple of small roaches. Housekeeping starts promtly at 8 AM. On the upside, many great Cocoa Beach sites are within walking distance, which makes us all the more dissapointed.

Cheap stay
I booked on Motel6 based on reccomendations, but I was not too happy. The toilette was not completely clean, as traces of the previous guest were still present.... The floor and the bathroom are old, partially broken. It looks like one-two stars hotels, but the cleanness a bit lower than that. For the rest, the rooms were comfortable and ok. The personell at the front guest extremely nice and helpful.
