2-1/2 days in Cocoa Beach
Check in was quick and easy. The only negative to the whole stay was on Thursday a.m. when the fire alarm went off at 2:45 and scared the bejesus out of us. Some kind soul (Jerk) must have thought it was funny to set off an alarm. 3 firetrucks and about an hour later, we were able to go back to bed. Maid service was good. When she knocked on the door at 9 Thursday a.m., I asked if she could wait til after noon, we would be out of the way then. Over all, it was a good stay and I would stay there again.

Nice Hotel and Great Location
Very nice hotel, clean room, plenty of towels and clothes, nice TV and furniture. Great location, would stay again.

Disappointed La Quinta Fan
In Need Of A Facelift
This hotel's location is perfect, right on A1A and walking distance to the beach. But the place itself is not up to La Quinta standards. This is an older hotel with a "motel" feel to it, including the rooms. Too bad those seven astronauts aren't still around to pour some needed money into it.

Decent hotel... clean & quite
Decent hotel -- close to the beach. Friendly and efficient staff -- Comfortable beds - clean rooms - pet friendly - resturants nearby - decent contenital breakfast (standard type of food) - in short, we enjoyed our stay and would recomment this facility.

Adequate
The room was clean and everything in it was functional. However, the upstairs landing was blocked by plywood and construction cones, which blocked access to my room. No warning was given at the foot of the stairs so I climbed them with my luggage in tow only to realize that I would have to go back down and come back up another stairway. Inconsiderate on their part. Blocking the closest stairway may also be a fire hazard...

Good value, location, staff
We stayed here in early November to spend some time at the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation fundraiser at KSC. The hotel was an excellent price, and although some reviews stated the hotel was tacky on the outside, we thought it was fine. The room was clean and spacious, and the pool was huge compared to some much pricier hotels we've stayed at. The breakfast had a nice variety. The staff was very nice and were always smiling and polite. Some reviews stated it was a long walk through another hotel lobby to the beach, but we found it to be a short walk and you could bypass the lobby and walk down an adjacent dead end street. The hotel location was very convenient to the beach, KSC, and Publix. The fridge was much bigger than expected. We would stay there again.

Cocoa Beach vacation
The hotel was fine except that it was right next to the Cocoa Beach Pier with loud bands playing until 11:00 PM - unpleasant for us since we had to get up very early. [...]

much better than expected
really close to Lori Wilson Park- free beach parking! the room was clean, the staff smiled a lot, it felt like your own appartment with someone to take out the trash for you lol. really great for the price.
