International Palms Resort and Conference Center - Cocoa Beach

The only thing that did work out was a KING Bed instead of 2 doubles! Could not get an Ocean View room, let alone an Ocean Front! When I asked about getting a room with a microwave and a fridge? (NONE AVAILABLE) When I went to my STANDARD MOTEL ROOM, I had to park a block away the whole stay due to the parking lot being full of cars (that did not have parking passes). When I went to check out, they charged me a "resort fee" and when I asked what the resort fee was for, they immediately responded for the parking..... LOL I responded with "YEAH, I had to park a block away from my room because your lot was full of cars without parking passes". This didn't seem to bother them at all, they charged me anyway and responded with an "I'm sorry you didn't enjoy your stay with us". $325.00 later for two nights of a MOTEL SIX ROOM.......... never AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!

No mini fridge or microwave. Other than that the room and location was great!

Stayed in the hotel overnight. Check-in staff was very friendly. Room smelled like mold, was little stuffy. Bathroom curtain didn't look clean, but the rest was ok. Booked it during the 50% off promotion. All was ok for this price, would not have paid full price.

Took my wife for a weekend getaway on the beach. The Palms had all the amenities-pool, fitness, restaurant, bar, basketball and tennis courts. Best part of the bar right off the beach and the view from up top. Rooms were ordinary and old like a Motel 6, but did not stay in room too much.

We arrived to hotel and were ready to take whatever room they had for us, but we ended up upgrading the room to an oceanfront. It was the best room in the place, we were VERY happy. We went to the beach and the heated outdoor pool everyday. The one incident we had was with the cleaning staff and the overnight front desk. We arrived at our room and there was a trash bag pulled out and laid on the chair. Some laundry had been left and the dishes in the kitchenette were not done. My husband called the front desk to ask if we were supposed to do the dishes and they said "that would be nice". We work very hard for the little that we have to spend on vacation, so it was disappointing the hospitality was a little lacking in that moment. It was irritating, but it didn't ruin our trip. All of the other front desk people we interacted with we friendly and did their jobs well. This wouldn't deter me from going back, but it would deter me from paying more for future rentals if the rates were any higher.

Did not get room I was promised, then came back from beach at 2 pm and room was still a mess. Called front desk to see what was going on and was told that I had to wait for my room to be cleaned because they had to get the rooms ready for people coming in that day. I told them I did not read that anywhere when I booked the room. Will never go back there.

We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights, being in town for a satellite launch at Cape Canaveral. The room we got was clean and obviously refurbished. This is clearly an older hotel, the bathroom fixtures do show their age but worked reasonably well. The air conditioning worked well and had a thermostatic setting. The location was very convenient to the beach. There are two access paths to the ocean, one has showers for rinsing off salt water and sand. The hotel offers a smores kit for a very reasonable price. They have a propane fire pit near the beach that you can use to toast the marshmellows. The kit makes a total of 4 smores, and they provide a large fork to use for toasting the marshmellows. This was a really nice touch. The only negative during our stay was the Wi-Fi. The signal was good at our room, but the overall service was spotty. Much of the time the response was very slow or non-existent, I suspect the problem is too many people trying to share too low a data rate connection to the Internet. Response was really crisp at 4:00 am, so the Wi-Fi is capable of working well.

Was a good experience, just by chance we got to see a launch from Cape Canaveral from the deck down by the beach.

The hotel room was very clean, but the bathroom need some renovation and no hot water one day. Our room was facing the ocean on the 1st floor, but we couldn’t see the ocean very good because of the hedges. We wished we’d stayed in a room that was on the second or third floor, so we could see the ocean and beach. The hotel overall needs some needed renovations. If you can look past the needed renovations, you wouldn’t mind staying here. The hotel was close to all the spots in Cocoa Beach we wanted to visit. For us, it was the perfect location. We would stay there again.

Wonderful stay for the price! Great vacation... The hotel is amazing.. Very close to the beach... Couldn't get any better !!
