Great beach getaway!
The hotel was exceptionally clean and well taken care of. The front desk went above and beyond to help us. Our room was delightfully spacious, and a real bonus was the mini fridge in the room to keep things cold. The pool was very nice, and the walk to the beach was short. I can't remember one bad thing to write about.

Not on the beach
Left a day early, due to room very stuffy, mattress kept sliding of box spring. This hotel is not "Right" on the beach. Had to walk around buidling, across a parking lot/drive area to a 500 foot walk to the beach. I reserved this thinking per their advertisement that it was on the beach, as I had a member that has to use a wheelchair for long distance. She was not able to even see the beach due to the length of the walk and the wheel chair does not go on the sandy lane.

Last minute trip
Very happy with the Courtyard at Cocoa Beach. It was a last minute reservation and we were treated very well. The room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. parking was easy. I used the fitness room in the morning for a quick workout. The only thing I didn't like was the assisted pullup machine. There was no way to move the "lift" out of my way to do pullups without help. No big deal. I will return to the Courtyard if in the area again.

Great people at Oceansports World Surf Shop. Ron was fantastic in renting us some paddle boards for the morning. We walked across the street from the shop to an uncrowded beach and had a blast.

It was a great Mariott, staff was friendly and efficient with one minor exception. The room was clean, neat, great view and the try out for the a college softball team couldn't have been better for my daughter

new but expected more
this new hotel was clean but the pool was ice cold and it took our pizza delivery guy 90 minutes to get to us...

Enjoyed my stay!
I really enjoyed my stay here! The hotel was clean and the room was nice. The hotel is not nearly as close to the beach as I thought. You can barely see the water and there is a condo between the hotel and the beach. The staff was polite and it was nice to have starbucks and a good breakfast right in the hotel!

Cocoa Beach - not just another Courtyard
Though hotel is not massice and lobby/restaurant/business area are all sort of in one area which, at first looks a little bit of a compromise but actually functions nicely and is nicely decorated, semi-partitioned and comfortable. Room was king bed with small sleep sofa sitting area (basically a double converted over so not terribly roomy) but great for couple. It was nice. Pool & hottub are outdoor but pool is heated (though one morning the heat was not on (Feb 19-21 stay). Food was somewhat reasonably for a hotel, bar and pool tiki bar staff friendly when engaged. Beach access by walking to rear and around a driveway to the back of the Hampton Inn (which shares the real estate) and then 400 feet sand walk beside a beach front condo to get to nice beach. Chair & umbrella rentals available on beach. There aren't any rooms with true ocean views as a condo bldg blocks much of the view. However, if nice room, semi-resort like interior works for your stay and pretty easy walk to shore, this is a very, very good choice and value.

The dining in the hotel was very good to excellent and prices not too bad for the decent food. We didn't eat out much but also felt fortunate to discover just a couple blocks north on the left is "A N.Y. Pizza House" which has excellent pasta (very large portions, too) and though it's small dining area was packed, take-out can be had in 30 minutes on a busy Saturday night.

Currently this hotel is under construction and the lobby is out of order. This made for a less than ideal experience. The room was ok, a little old and run down. It is in a good location to walk right to the beach and near everything you would need at Cocoa Beach. I would stay there again if I had to, but I would wait until the construction is done.
