Perfect
The experience was awesome! Our room was upgraded to a one bedroom suite, so we had 2 bathrooms! It was very clean and comfortable. The room was amazing... we loved the beautiful kitchen, living room, huge LG flat screen tv, the dining room, the his and her sinks, the awesome shower, the balcony that had 2 entrances and exits! Just beautiful.

Short walk from hotel
The hotel is close to EVERYTHING! =) We did not need to take the cab except for 1x to go to the PUBLIX that was a little further than walking distance to get groceries. After that we walked to CVS or Walgreens for the rest of our needs.

Good location, amenaties, service subpar
The rooms are great. We had a great view overlooking the pier. We took full advantage of the kitchenette, with our first stop from the airport being the grocery store. The location is great with walking distance to the pier and the business strip The hyatt has a great pool for families with the deepest depth at 5ft The ocean is also directly across the street and was always clean and warm What we didn't like, unfortunately was the service. The service forgot to clean our room one day, had to wait 15 min for a table at the restaurant despite a nearly empty dining room. To add insult to injury we were seated by the patio doors where the servers were continually going outside, bringing the hot air directly to the table The ultimate was when iasked for some change one morning in order to feed the meters at a beach we planned to go. The front desk first asked why we needed change if we were staying at the hotel , as the valets would park our car . I questioned why, if we were paying for parking why I would need change considering daily parking was $16. Regardless, I said I needed change for a parking meter, afterwhich, the front desk explained they had only dimes and nickels. I said that that would be pretty useless to which they respond, ' I don't know, I've never used a parking meter before.' I went to the coffee shop to get my change

Family vacation
The hotel is beautiful and the staff was very helpful. The resort fee was high for not having chairs and umbrellas at the beach. We bought our own and gave them away before we left. It was still less expensive than renting. The other somewhat confusing thing was the elevators. You could not go directly from your room down to the beach and walking through the hotel was uncomfortable, but everyone had to do it. The five of us had two rooms next door to each other and had plenty of space. We really enjoyed our time there.

awesome resort
at check in I asked about an upgrade to a room that had been listed as unavailable when I booked the trip, but the upgrade was to a one bedroom suite, for the price I would have paid for a deluxe single room. The staff were friendly and helpful, the skimmers bar directed me to a local eatery where the food was excellent, reasonablly priced, and the setting more authentic. The shor's resturant had a well appointed breakfest buffet, and the staff again were all accomodating. I was not disappointed with anything, it does not get any better than my two nights at this hotel.

Great Hotel/Great Location
The hotel was very clean and beautiful. The staff was friendly and helpful. Concierge was extremely helpful when planning for Theme Park tickets and water activities. Great food at the restaurant and pleasant experience sitting outside overlooking the ocean. The kitchen in the room was great. Full size refrigerator with freezer was helpful when trying to keep cool. Weather was extremely hot. Loved it!!

Nice place but wouldn't go back
very clean, nice location. watch out for the extra fees.(resort fee, parking fee even for you the "guest".) valet people need to remember who the customers are. (we were treated very rudely) great atmosphere though, with great food and drink within walking distance.

Fantastic family getaway
This was our first time visiting Clearwater Beach and our trip was fantastic. We were very pleased with the location of hotel and the hotel itself. One minor complaint would be the resort fee that Hyatt charges to its guests. $20 per day is not reasonable at all. We still can't figure out why they charge this fee. We used pool once or twice, we never used the fitness facility or the internet. Hotel should only charge those guests who are using those facilities. Or perhaps include parking or discount on umbrella and chair rentals on the beach, free trolly rides, or free breakfast. Hotel staff was very friendly. Resort fee that Hyatt charges is the only reason we will not be staying there again.

If you have a budget set for the trip, we would suggest you go to Walgreens and purchase a cooler and umbrella to take to beach. Umbrella and two chair rental runs at $20 a day. We ate out a lot even though we had the full kitchen. We did buy breakfast food and that saved us time of going out, and instead we spent more time on the beach. We would strongly recomment buying a week pass for the trolly and not renting a car. Trolly will take you to restaurants, grocery stores, and they run every 20 minutes. You can hop on and off anytime.
