Super 8 Clearwater/St.Petersburg Airport

Website states there is a airport shuttle. Not the case. They tell you that they will call a shuttle for you and it will be $8.00 per person. Not true. It was a $50.00 ride to the airport and we were locked inside the taxi. Also; if you are planning on staying here with children, I would reconsider. Ladies of the night in and out of the hotel all day and night.

I needed a room to sleep in overnight, while traveling. I wasn't looking for anything fancy or a lot of amenities, just a quiet clean room to get some rest. This room fit the requirements - one of the lowest rates available, free internet, and a good place to get 8 hours sleep, before continuing my drive.

I was very quiet and comfortable. The room was clean and had everything I needed. Staff were friendly and helpful. Close to the airport, grocery store, gas stations and great restaurants. I will be returning.

the room was clean but the bath tub was literally falling apart, was painted with a brush and was cracking apart. The entire hotel smell like cheap tobacco, but the room didn't smell like that at all. The elevator was old. For the couple nights i stayed would prefer something better

THIS PLACE WAS A TYPICAL SUPER 8.NO ONE THERE TO CHECK IN.ROOM WAS SMALL AND STUFFY.TOWELS WERE THIN RAGS OLD TV.THESE PLACES ARE OLD CHEAPLY BUILT AND NOT WORTH IT.THEY ALSO FORGOT A WAKE UP CALL.SPEND $20 MORE ELSEWHERE.YOU PAY FOR WHAT GET.

Great stay for the price. Convenient location and quite! Well worth the price!!!

My stay at this hotel was great, for what I needed. While this hotel is not fancy or on the beach, it was clean and the staff was freindly and helpful. I have stayed there before and would stay there again.

Excellent value! Quite environment (which is what I was looking for) and convenient to just about everywhere you need to go in the Tampa/St Petersburg area.

It's a budget motel so it's not reasonable to expect something extraordinary. But all the necessary things were there - it was clean, rooms had mini-fridges, microwaves, coffee makers, hair dryers etc. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Continental breakfast was fresh. Location is all right if you need to get to the airport, but it's kind of empty otherwise. TVs are kind of old and small but hey - if you're in Florida and watching TV in your room, it might be time to reconsider some of the life choices you've made. Just sayin'.

I needed a quick place to stay for work and didn't need all the bells and whistles most hotels offer so for the price and location I feel this hotel was sufficient to me. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the rooms were cleaned every day. This is a smoking hotel so I requested a room away from the smokers when I checked in. I was very grateful when my request was taken care of quickly and without fuss. There isn't much of a selection for breakfast but for the price I can understand the minimal spread. I would stay here again.
