Comfort Suites Clearwater

Great location for my family as it was within minutes from Clearwater Marine Aquarium and the Clearwater Jazz Holiday. Has a nice walking path across the street from the Bay with benches to watch the sunset, birds, boats and fish jump. The queen rooms were clean and bigger than a normal hotel room, With small sitting area and mini frig. the pool was nice and so was the hot tub. the mini golf and bike rentals are a nice touch. Comp breakfast was good. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Gym is small needs upper body equip.

Our stay was for just one night, however, we are return guests to this hotel. The price was an unbeatable value for us compared to other hotels in the area. We just need a place to sleep, shower and change clothes. All our activities were away from the hotel with local family. We will be back... but we are hoping the bed pillows will be a little bit bigger next time.

This was the first time that I booked something with Orbitz, and probably my last one, the Hotel do not have a good location as you said,all the rooms has a partial view to the Bay , room's carpet not clean at all , the elevator extremely slow ,I had to go back to the front desk 5 times during the check in because the card key doesnt work properly, I had to make a deposit of $ 10 to get a cable so I can connect to the internet because the wireless internet doesn't work properly as well, etc, and to finish my bad experience when I was checking out another person was checking out too and he paid for the same night like me $39,99 and I paid $ 87,63 so as you can see it was not a good experience, and I want my money back.

the hotel was nice and the room was clean. however their is a limited number of staff members after dark.for the price this is a good hotel

Comfort Suites is a wonderful place to stay because its a smoke free environment. Rooms are quite roomy and offers a variety of breakfast choices. Staff are helpful and friendly. It's a short drive to Clearwater Beach and Honeymoon Island. Price is reasonable. I would stay there again.

The hotel staff was great. The location was horrible. I booked because I thought this hotel was on Clearwater Beach, which of course it was not. It was so from being on Clearwater beach, you could barely see it from the hotel. As a matter of fact, I did have a peek-a-boo view of the water, and off in the distance I could see the hotels on Clearwater Beach. Long story short, very low class! I will NOT be staying here again. They have the slowest elevator in the world!

Overall hotel is nice but pool was too small

overpriced for the appearance of the hotel, dark entrance to the main entrance, rooms were dark also some lights weren't working

The Comfort Suites Clearwater was a pleasant surprise. We'd left the Westin on Harbor Island in Tampa after a business conference to spend the rest of the week in Clearwater. As soon as I walked in the room I was shocked. Comfort Suites had twice the room at half the money. Granted the view wasn't as terrific, but I don't stand around looking out of hotel windows. The location was close and everything was a short drive away. The staff was great and made us feel at home. They also gave us some great tips on what to see and where to eat. It was a really nice and clean place to stay and I'd recommend it to anybody.

The Comfort Inn, Clearwater was one of the best experiences my husband and I ever had at a hotel. Everyone on the staff was friendly and helpful and made you feel at home. From check in, breakfast to room service everyone made you feel at home. This was the first time I actually felt lke I was at home while staying in a hotel. All the employees no matter what they did were friendly, smiling and helpful. We loved the free breakfast. We were shocked to actually have a lot of good healthy and delicious breakfast items to choose from. This was not just sweet rolls and coffee. The woman taking care of the breakfast made sure every thing was fresh and refilled. Our room was so comfortable and nice. The only thing I had a problem with was the disinfectant they sprayed in the bathroom because I have allergy's we had to air out the room so I could breath. I would reccomend this hotel to anyone.
