I had to change rooms 2 times. The first one was a smoking room and I had requested a non-smoking one. The 2nd room they gave me had very old furniture , and it seems that under the sheets they put a type of plastic sheet instead of a mattress cover - the TV was broken so they transferred me to a 3rd room, which I believe it was the best room in the hotel. The furniture in this room was much newer too. Breakfast is only coffee and waffles, nothing else. Pool chairs were very old; floor near vending machine was dirty.

Basic needs fulfilled
For what I needed this place was fine. Rooms need freshening up, there was no clock, ice machine was not working. Pool was nice, staff very nice and location was good.

Price is good. Bed was clean but too soft. Hotel/rooms need miscellanious repair.

Perfectly named motel
The room was spotless as far as I could tell. There was a microwave and refrigerator and hair dryer in the room. If I had gone to the second floor, I could have had a full kitchenette with a 4 cup coffee pot, but I preferred parking at my door. There was complimentary coffee and make-it-yourself Belgian waffles available from 6 to 9 every morning. The only minor inconvenience was that no shampoo is available. The staff was very friendly and helpful and efficient. I will definitely stay at this chain whenever I can.

Palmetto Bug Hotel
Filth
It was so bad even the bed bugs don't want to stay. Do yourself a favor, spend alittle extra and get a safe, clean place...I was asked by the drug addicts that hang out in the parking lot 4 times if I had a cigarette...even after I told them I don't smoke.

Not bad
For the price nice room. Could use some fixing up but then it would no longer be so chep. Stove fridge microwave not more you could ask for. Only bad thing has a sign about cleaning dishes but comes with none. What good is stove without a pan.

Good for the price except.....
The hotel was pretty good for the price except that the toilet clogged twice. I had to have them send the handyman to unclogged wich was not a nice thing to do... besides that everythimng was pretty good, breakfast ok... But the laundry was only not good...

Barely Adequate
The Days Inn in Northern Clearwater is just an old facility that really needs complete renovation. The room was clean, but the furniture was broken in places, the door didn't open and close well, and the shower faucet was worn out and required much jiggling to get set to the proper temperature. The breakfast was barely adequate; cereal and the like, but never any fresh fruit. The picture of the breakfast area on line does not match the reality of the hotel. The staff was nice and helpful.
