Best place near Orlando by far :)
This was our 3rd year here. This time we rented a villa instead of a hotel room, it was bigger than our home. We spent most of our time in the lazy river and golfing. Awesome place to stay with kids and the staff were always smiling which tells me they are happy with working there.

Great place to relax
This was a great way to end our 9 day vacation. The hotel and grounds were absolutely beautiful...in fact with 3 young children I had wondered if it would be kid friendly and indeed they were. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean...I only wished they had offered refridgerators in the rooms. They pool areas and recreation were very clean and also very comfortable. If you are a sun lover there is plenty of that...but if you need the shade there were plenty of umbrellas. The food was good but a little pricey. Overall a GREAT place to stay. The staff was very gracious.

nice hotel and ammenities
the hotel was nice, the pools were amazing! great food by the pool side grill. one of my complaints is that there were no vending machines!! if you're thirsty, you're forced to use the mini-bar, or drink tap water...the store/gift shop and coffee place closed really early...and the restaurants weren't open too late either...there are many resort fees as well...if you're staying there to go to any of the parks, they are between 10-15, or more, miles away...other than that, it was a nice place to stay!

Steak fries on a shoestring budget.
Beautiful Hotel but be aware of the fees
We chose to return to this hotel again for it's seclusion from the hectic commotion of "tourist Orlando." Last visit, we enjoyed plenty of relaxation while the kids kept occupied in the pools, waterslide, lazy river, etc. Again, there were bbq's, airbrush tattoo artists, and plenty of kids' activities - many of which were moved indoors due to rain. Just be prepared for the resort fees of $16 per day, self-parking fee of $14 per day, and outrageous extra guest fees if applicable, plus tax upon tax. We knew of this and still returned, but might go elsewhere next time since there's not much for teens if it rains. Still, it's gorgeous and relaxing. And very cold. Hallways and elevators are kept very cold, probably to maintain the upscale image by preventing guests from walking through marble lobbies in bathing suits.

Money-saving tip:
In Hotel
We removed some contents from minibar fridge to make room for quarts of milk, OJ and other items to help cut down on meal costs. There is a Publix very close to the hotel, so we picked up cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, subs, salads, etc. during our 4-day stay. Knowing in advance to bring disposable bowls, cutlery, etc. helped us budget better so we could enjoy nicer places when we did eat out.

fees and costs
the cost to park is between $14 and $18 per day, even self park without ever leaving your space while at the hotel. Extra high costs for food and other "mandatory resort fees" that are added $16 per day plus $15 in fees and taxes per day. So expect to pay at least $31 over quoted price per day.
