Mystic Dunes Resort and Golf Club is ideally situated near Orlando's top destinations, including Universal Orlando, Walt Disney World Resort and SeaWorld Orlando. OK Rental
This is a time share with a heavy sales pitch if you care to go. Did pay $100 plus 2 free nights in the future at a Diamond Resort but expect more than the 90 mn promised. That being said, location was great. Because of our cheaper price we had an old unit that had yet to be renovated. Diamond has recently purchased this property and are working hard to bring it up to expectations. Has a ways to go but should be nice when finished.

ok for what i paid
its a nice hotel, nice scenery, good restaurant on site, beware the $250 secuirty deposit that really threw our expenses off...nice place for families staying for more than 2 nights...nice jetted tubes in the rooms, good amenities if your an owner...if not..you have to pay..not far but not that close to parks and attractions..very nice pools and great for golf..soft beds..plenty of pillows, ask for a updated room!

I don't travel often,but...
When I arrived to check in at about 10:30 PM, I was informed there would be a $250 hold placed on my credit card as a security deposit. I guess this is a standard practice, but it sure would have been nice to get a heads up about it before I flew out there. The guy next to me already paid for his room, but was struggling to find a card that he could put the deposit on. After that we went to our room, which turned out to be occupied. Oops. How does that happen? On the bright side they upgraded me to a room with a king size bed and more space than I could use.

Great Weekend Getaway
I have stayed at this resort a number of times and as usual I have no complaints. Everything was in order and staff was very friendly and accomadating. Great location. Not to far from attractions or shopping.

Since there is a full kitchen with everything needed to prepare a meal; I suggest cooking a few meals instead of eating out to save a couple dollars.

Bad experience
I had to stay for one week by force due to unexpected deposit that i had to pay to check inn and hold most of my trip credit. that week was the worst in life as there was no internet connection at all. however they are posting that they have internet but they are not. Location dose not appear on GPS The unit has a water leaking from the washer, fan was noisy,TV was old and very bad pic,Bed was very uncomfortable.
