Great experience. Felt very safe. Very spacious rooms. Great swimming pool. Good location.

We were pleased with the hotel - easy to get to - off the road and quiet. The breakfast each day was very good. The staff was very helpful and accomodating. Our room was clean and had plenty of everything we needed. Was surprised however that there was only one washer/dryer for a hotel with 4 floors. I would have thought they would have had one on each floor or a larger one with several washer/dryers. There was construction going on and had we known this I doubt that we would have booked this hotel. On Monday the 25th we were without water - guess the county had cut a waterline. There was no announcement made to let us know this had happened. We did not know that this until we got ready to turn on the water in the bathroom.

The Hotel was a little hard to find even with the GPS, but once there it was great,the breakfast was good and service was excellent.

Aside from dealing with the extensive exterior renovations that were underway, this hotel is certainly worth a look. It's not close to any restaurants, so driving out to eat is going to be inevitable. However, it is only a few tenths of a mile from the highway, so access to several restaurants and attractions is easy. The rooms are top notch and breakfast choices are great. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

We stayed here two nights. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't pleasant. Based on my room category, I expected to be in a renovated room. Some parts of the rooms appeared to be renovated, such as the bath vanity, but the new light was hung uneven. The carpets and furniture were dirty and worn. The bed pillows were smaller than most throw pillows. Construction workers were outside our window BEFORE 9 AM. There's just something creepy about having someone right outside your window when you're getting ready in the am. I'll avoid this hotel in the future and based on my experience here, I'll avoid other WIngates. Just too icky.

The front door area was under construction when we arrived so we had to use the side door. A little inconvenient but no big deal to us. We were greeted by a very friendly staff member at the desk and he checked us in quickly. When we got to the room we found that he had upgraded us to a suite at no charge. Our lucky day. The breakfast the next day was average but we had an earlier experience at another hotel that made us lerey of all things free. So average was acceptable. The location is a bit out of the way but that made it quieter. We will come back if in this area again.

Exterior renovation made for a more challenging access to the front door but it worked fine. Place is truly smoke free!!!!!! Also very quiet. Would love to go back and spend a week in retreat.

Clean, comfortable and easily accessible to the highway. I needed a place to sleep during travel and this was a great value.

A great place to stay. The room was spacious and comfortable; and, although I didn't partake in the free breakfast, it looked very inviting. I will definitely stay again.
