Ocean Lodge

Convienent for me (family lives nearby). Very relaxing vacation. Pool area very nice. Close to beach.

The manager and the staff could not be any more helpful. Always has clean rooms, comfortable beds and nice pool. Everything you need to prepare a simple meal is supplied. Safe, family atmosphere, most of the guests are repeat visitors AND is just across the street from a beautiful beach. A supermarket is just a short drive as are a list of wonderful restaurants. LOVE the Ocean Lodge!

Stayed at the Ocean Lodge for five nights with my husband, 2yo and 5yo and had a great time. The rooms were up to date, in good shape and clean. The facilities were very nice, with a peaceful seating area separate from the pool. Overall, I felt that the decor and condition were a cut above other area motels we've stayed in. The kitchenette was tiny but well stocked with the necessary equipment. (Oddly, there was no can opener, but we asked for one and received it later the same day.) The bed was not very comfortable, and even my 5yo was unhappy with the pull-out couch. Still, it's a short walk to the beach and a quick drive to lots of good restaurants. We'd definitely consider staying here again.

we arrived tired and hungry. The first room was ground floor next to a very noisy pump house. The second and only room left was in a hall way and dark. We could hear the noise from the pump house everywhere. The room smelled intensly of deodorizer and the dirty windows did not open. Room furnishings were dingy There is no phone service so you must have a cell and your own computer although we heard that even internet service was a problem for one guest. Hotel is very small with limited rooms. Staff was one man only there a few months. He was not very helpful and knew very little of the area. [...]

The only negative was that the microwave didn't work and no one was available in the office at the time to fix it.

EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT, STAFF WAS GREAT. POOL CLEAN. BEACH ACROSS THE STREET. ROOMS SPOTLESS. WILL HIGHLY RECOMMEND. STOVE TOP SAVED US MONEY AS WE COOKED OUR MEALS.

The hotel is at a wonderful location. The beach was within 5 minutes of walking distance. The hotel was very neat and clean. The staff is awesome! We had a great stay and I hope to do it again next year.

My family of 2 adults and 2 children (3 & 5) stayed here in July of 2009. The rooms appeared to be newly remodeled and featured tile floors, one queen bed, one queen sofa bed, and a flat screen tv. The kitchen was small but adequate for breakfast or reheating leftovers. It was equipped with an electric 2 burner counter top stove, a toaster oven, a standard sized coffee maker, a dorm type fridge, a few pots and pans, and eating utensils. The pool is nice and well maintained and they provide a nice grill if you want to cook out. Boca Raton's south beach is a very short walk directly across Ocean Blvd. The office has limited office hours (no weekends or late evenings) but as long as you don't expect a 24/7 full service hotel type atmosphere it should not be a problem. They do provide fresh towels and linens every day and the cleaning and maintenance crew were very friendly and thorough. We had a slow tub drain our first day that was corrected shortly after I reported it.

We liked this place. It was in a great location. This place was very fancy compared to other motels.
