okay place to stay

The staff were friendly but management must be cutting back on updating the rooms. Nice view but unfortunately the hotel seems to be in decline. The 12 dollar service fee is a very sneaky way of adding to the cost of the room.

Amazed

Lets start off the the positive: Locaion was awesome-the hotel had goregous views of Boca the intercoastal and the beach. Also, the hotel staff was wonderful and courteous. However, the same cannont be siad for the outside restaurant. We waited for 10 minutes for a server to even acknoledge we had been seated. Also the table next to us expierenced some of the same rude service; A service mixed up the bills and credit cards after they were signed and informed the table that it was okay becasue the other table signed for it. All I can say is wow. During our stay the room key system didn't work. Everytime we left the room we had to contact the front desk to have someone let us in. What a hastle!

beautiful hotel, beautiful location

the hotel is lovely, and one of the few that isn't located right on a busy commercial street. It is a short walk to a lovely beach. It's comfortable, elegant and clean.

Location Location Location

I have stayed here at least 6 times and though the value and location are still good the over all experience has been on a steady decline. The physical property, both rooms and exterior need a facelift. The staff are still pleasant and accomodating but the hotel breakfast is mediocre and overpriced. Time to step things up and match the beautiful surroundings.
