Sea View Bal Harbour Hotel

The Sea View is a very nice hotel. It’s the Goldilocks hotel; everything about it is just right. The rooms are small but nicely appointed and very clean. The pool is large and very nice and the cabana personnel are really great guys. Beyond the pool deck there’s a wonderful hiking path that runs 0.8 miles up the beach (it's marked in tenths). It was always populated by nice, healthy joggers and young families pushing jogging strollers. There is a very upscale shopping mall a short walk away and a few blocks south on Harding Ave is a strip of good restaurants and a CVS store for the basics. I stayed here with my girlfriend in October 2011 and we are definitely coming back. I gave this five stars because It is a very, very good value. You may want more amenities but this has all of the important things.

The Seaview Hotel has everything you could want. The oceanfront location is fabulous, a beautiful swimming pool, restaurant, the rooms are clean with all the amenities, and the staff is more than accomodating. The only criticism I have is that they do not have an ATM machine and that several things cost extra such as if you want a lounge chair at the pool or beach. But overall, I was very happy and comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone, including families with children.

We had a wonderful time. The hotel is spotless, the service if impeccable and the hotel is perfectly situated to the restaurants and shopping within walking distance. If you love your privacy and quite time, this is the place to be. The pool service was just as impeccable, clean, clean clean.

The Sea View fits the saying "location, location, location. For my purposes, its location, in Bal Harbour, was perfect, as I was visiting relatives who live just a stone's throw away on Collins Avenue. The hotel's lobby is luxurious. Our room was fairly nice-a king sized bed, two end tables a TV with cable, a small walk in closet(needs repainting) and a bathroom. The bed cover and decorative pillows were a bit shabby. I felt that the room was not as clean as it could have been. There was dust on the door leading into the bathroom, on the shelves within; chipped paint and a chip in the porceline sink. One sign of cleanliness is the grout around the bath/shower, which was completely clean. The main draw back was that there was no air conditioning in the bathroom. Considering the steam generated by the shower and the humidity of Florida, this proved to be the most lacking (surprising) and unpleasant thing about the room. A few minor things: it felt like there were ameneties missing that make for a 5 star hotel-i.e.there was a refrigerator but no stacked snack bar.

Hotel is nicely remodeled everything in our room was brand new. Pool and cabanas a little dated . The breakfast was nothing special with very little choices..Beach is great . Unfortunately umbrellas and beach chairs were $10.00 per day. Beach beds were very uncomfortable. Pool had too much chlorine and kids were complaining that their eyes were burning after every use. Great cleaning crew. Linens and towels changed 2 a day. Hotel is still under construction.

Very relaxing good location in Miami

Hotel is refurbishing and cleaner than in the past. Staff is very warm and hospitable.

We keep on returning to the same hotel.. year after year... we love Bal Harbour, we love to shop in that area and my kids love the complemantary breakfast served daily at the hotel!

We were very happy with our stay at Seaview,This was our family vacation for one week in Miami so we did alot of research before confirming our stay,The beach is just beautiful it was not crowded and neither was the pool area. The staff was nice,not to mention room service; it was great they came to the room twice a day to replenish towels and other necessities. At night they would also turn down the sheets to get you ready for bed it was awesome. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to friend.
