PERFECT

Nice poolside area with bar and nice gym. On the Beach with lots of nice restaurants within a very short walking distance. Mezza Luna is a great Italian place. Tama serves excellent Sushi. Sliders is a great casual seafood restaurant. This is a must stay.

Nice But Expensive

The room was nice. The bathroom was tiny. I had a view of the beach out the side of the hotel. I don't think the $25 resort fee was worth it since I was a single person and couldn't eat that many snacks. They had a coffee bar in the lobby. I think it would be much better if they added some nice pasteries to that. That would have justified the resort fee for me. The beds were super comfortable with lots of wonderful pillows. I was disappointed that the windows did not open. I would have enjoyed the ocean breeze. We had breakfast in the hotel dining room. Food was average but the service was very slow. Breakfast took an hour and a half. I was there on Sunday and would have preferred a buffet breakfast/brunch. Overall it was a good experience. My only complaint is that it is way overpriced for what it is. And, the add ons are very expensive as well. [...] offered a better value than the hotel did.

Money-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

There is a nice coffee shop called Lillies just a short distance from the hotel. Just walk out the front door and walk down the street to the left. The coffee shop is about a block away. There is a Starbucks, if you walk straight ahead but it is only a drive thru. No place to sit down and eat. There is also a wonderful homemade candy store across from the Starbucks.

Great night at the Beach

The drive up to the hotel starts off by being very welcoming. The lobby was impressive and nice. Registration went very smooth and I was taken to the elevator and given directions to my room. On arrival at the room it was clean and nice. I had a view of the ocean. I guess if there was a down side to the hotel, they did not have an iron or ironing board in the room. And the bathroom was a bit snug. The overall stay was very nice and I plan on returning for a longer stay.

Not excellent, but close

This is a nice hotel. I have stayed here before. I do think, however, think that everyone at the hotel thinks they are more special than they actually are. The rooms are small but very clean. The location of the hotel is great. The food is mediocre and very over priced. Room service prices are ridiculous for what you get. Also, there was a shortage of small wash cloths and when I called to ask for a couple, I ws told I would be "put on the list."

DO NOT eat at the hotel. There are several restaurants in walking distance of the hotel that have much better food, more reasonably priced.
