Nice
Therooms were nice, clean and quiet. Centrally located, ten minute walk to the zoo, twenty to The White House. Nice restaurants nearby and a small playgrund up the street. Only gripe we had was that only cheap plastic glsses were available in the rooms so having a glass of wine was cheesey. Staff was quiet friendly and helpful. We plan on staying again.

Nice and Quiet...
I really enjoyed the location of the hotel. It was about a 10 minute walk to the Adams Morgan scene. Nice quiet area with trees so it had a neighborhood feeling to it. The room itself was older, but had a homely feel to it. The staff were very helpful and polite. The only thing i didn't like was that the air conditioner wasn't working, but it was nice outside so I was able to stay cool with the window open. For the price I would stay there again.

Great Location
The hotel is located in a very nice neighborhood. It was within walking distance to Woodley Park and Dupont Circle. The room was clean and it was pretty tranquil. The staff was somewhat rude but other than that no problems at all.

Like a mini apartment
The hotel was a little farther from the center of DC then I had thought. But it was a quite, old apartment building turned hotel, which made it a lot nicer then a larger, nosier chain hotel. There are no ramps for moving your luggage easier, but there are not many steps in total. Since the building was old, the floors did creek a bit. But I never heard those above me much. The doors do stick, so you can hear others close their doors loudly. For the most part everyone seemed very respectful of this fact and those around them. There is complimentry breakfast every morning, including tea, coffee, muffins, bagels and danish. This proved helpful for my morning coffee needs. The small staff (maybe 3 people) we available if needed. To get to the city one must walk three blocks or so and hop on the Red line Metro. This stop is also a block away from the National Zoo. The Metro is fast, clean and very easy to use. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would stay there again!

Short walk from hotel
There are great little restaurants all around this area. Many ethnic restaurants as well. I had an excellent meal of salad, pasta and wine at an Italian place called Pi. This place was not expensive either, it had great prices.

Great pizzeria near Dupont Circle called Pizzeria Paradiso, in the evening hard to get a table but if one comes before 4 p.m. there won't be a problem.

OK for a night or two
The doors made a loud noise when opening/closing. The staff was friendly. The breakfast had only bagels and english muffins. The location was great, walking distance to the white house (about 30 min walk). The hotel is located at the embassies' location.

Check for Zorbas-a greek restaurant. Great food, there is no waiter, just order the food and when they call you, get the food and enjoy.
