Dining

international lounge
The keynote of the international is the feeling of grown-up glamour and sophistication that reigned throughout the Kennedy years - the golden age of All-American-Style; full of promise and ambition. This is not Austin Powers or Warhol Pop. Think Babe Paley; think dressed up, crisp clothed jet-setters and kings of commerce enjoying a classic champagne cocktail, nibbling an elegant snack, while engaging in intense flirtation and conversation into the wee hours - after all one can always stay over.
No. 10 Thomas
No. 10 Thomas offers Contemporary American cuisine and the perfect ambience for any meal. Watch the "Early birds" at Logan Circle in the morning, sunbathers taking a dip in our pool after lunch, or the sunset over National City Christian Church in the evening. Sip a Glass of Champagne or enjoy a cocktail by candle light on our Poolside terrace and make a wish while counting the shooting stars over Washington D.C.

building memories

took my grandson to visit our capitol for the first time and couldn't have picked a better place to stay.since it was just an 11 year old boy and his 60+ grandma, safety was a concern but we felt totally safe and secure.the staff was very helpful for directions, modes of transportation and suggestions for things he might be interested in seeing.the pool was great and we made good use of it,as well as the pool grill and room service.the location was central to all our sights, would use this hotel again in a minute!

Great hotel

The hotel is about 4 blocks from the Mc Pherson Metro station so it's very convenient. Also it's on the 14th Street Restaurant and theater area so you can walk to some of the best restaurants in the city. The room had a nice size. It was very clean. The beds were very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent room keeping service

The Washington Plaza hotel was more than adequate for our stay in D.C. The employees were very nice. The pool and fitness room were good additions. We were really pleased with how clean and tidy our room was when we returned each night. The room was spacious with enough room for four of us. The public bus system was a short walk, although we would have enjoyed more choices for restaurants close by. Most dining was not within walking distance. We tried to rent a movie in our hotel room, but the tape was messed up. The front desk removed the charge with no problems. We would definitely stay here again.

homey atmosphhere

It was busy but quiet and easy to get around the hotel. The staff was very helpful. Dining was good and the food was plentiful but average in preperation and presentation. The room size was small but addiquit. The view was not the best[next to appartment complex]. All-IN-all it was a pleasant experience....

Fantastic Family getaway

Wonderful trip!! The staff was amazing. Friendly and efficient. I would recommend to all families. The only thing that I would change was the heating system. It was very hot in the room. We were able to open the window and it was fine. It doesn't matter because the people were amazing.
