Dining

international lounge
The keynote of the international is the feeling of grown-up glamour and sophistication that reigned throughout the Kennedy years - the golden age of All-American-Style; full of promise and ambition. This is not Austin Powers or Warhol Pop. Think Babe Paley; think dressed up, crisp clothed jet-setters and kings of commerce enjoying a classic champagne cocktail, nibbling an elegant snack, while engaging in intense flirtation and conversation into the wee hours - after all one can always stay over.
No. 10 Thomas
No. 10 Thomas offers Contemporary American cuisine and the perfect ambience for any meal. Watch the "Early birds" at Logan Circle in the morning, sunbathers taking a dip in our pool after lunch, or the sunset over National City Christian Church in the evening. Sip a Glass of Champagne or enjoy a cocktail by candle light on our Poolside terrace and make a wish while counting the shooting stars over Washington D.C.

Need to sleep

Conveniently located, nice swimming-pool. Now, I'm not keen on hearing my neighbor's flush as if it were in my bedroom not a great fan of doors slamming either. Probably got the wrong room, but for $250+, I expect to sleep.

Good stay for the price

The hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Not a bad price as I booked late and its right in the middle of the DC with easy access to all the historical sights. Would definitely recommend.

Business Trip - Overall fine but a little noisy

We had two rooms for two nights. Overall I did really like this hotel - the location was excellent and our meetings were nearby. The lounge area was very cozy and staff service was actually a step above the other places I've stayed in DC. For example, we arrived at 10:45pm very hungry, and even thought they were about to close the kitchen the lounge staff happily took our order. Only complaint was that it was a bit noisy. The first night there was a very loud garbage truck outside that woke one of us at 6:00am. The second night room noise from next door was audible - TV and phone conversation. Not much to be done about that really - the person next door obviously had their volume up and was being quite loud, but it showed the rooms weren't highly soundproof.

Business trip

The hotel was fine, and a few blocks from McPherson on the metro. You may want clear directions or your phone in assistance in finding the hotel though from the metro. Staff was nice, rooms small but vibrant colors, and the turn down service with free water bottles a plus. A good room with a good price, and they are not on the bed bug registry list, so that is a huge bonus in my book.

Great Value

In a town with as many expensive hotel rooms as DC is known for -- this was a very budget friendly hotel with great access to what the district has to offer.

Very good, but some annoyances

This hotel is really well located. The staff was excellent. So helpful. The rooms are cheaper than some others. They are perfectly fine. Given that I was saving more than $100 a night vs. Marriott, rooms just a shade wanting, but since it under-prices the competition, I accepted. Clean. Bathroom perfectly fine. Annoyances: TV didn't work, and had to be fixed. Wifi was in and out.I went to the lobby to work on better wifi, and these dudes were working a machine to tear up the carpet. It was deafening, and I had to vacate the restaurant. I would give it another shot figuring that the same work wouldn't be underway. Staff was very responsive and offered me some things to make up for the annoyances.
