Great Experience
We stayed in DC as first time city visitors from Philly. We stayed to see two Nationals vs. Phillies games. We were treated so wonderfully by all of the staff. I was really impressed by the hospitality there. I have never been treated so well in all of my travels. The locations was terrific for proximity to the Metro which we took to the game. The hotel was in the perfect location as well for sight seeing. We walked everywhere. The White House, monuments, and museums were so close. We are planning to go back next year and we wouldn't stay anywhere else.

great location for family
We had a whirlwind 2 1/2 days in DC. Metro was easy to use (after we figured it out the first time). Kids loved it (especially after a long day of walking). Capitol Bldg tour, Air & Space Museum, American History Museum, Natural History Museum, Washington Monument, etc. All within walking distance if you are used to walking but would also use the Metro. Hotel was clean, concierge was nice. Easy walking to restaurants.

we took the grayline double decker bus to get our bearings around DC but it was HOT and traffic was very congested so the 2 1/2 hr trip turned into more like 4 hrs. We had to wait almost an hr to catch the bus which was supposed to go by the hotel every 20 minutes.

Great Location
Great location. We could walk to Georgetown, all of the museums and all monuments. The Metro was just out side of the front door. We purchased a deal that included breakfast and saved big dollars. The cost for parking was the only disappointment.

best place to stay to attend a DC United Soccer game. Take the metro. Very short ride and very short walk to the stadium.

Awesome hotel
From check in, until we checked out, the staff was friendly, helpful and never bothered by our millions of questions! The security team was excellent! They always checked on all persons going to the elevators to make sure they were guests and made eye contact and spoke to us. The entire staff was excellent!

Beautiful hotel in center of Washington
Upon checkin I learned that my room was upgraded to Executive status with no additional charge. The corner room was spacious with nice views from both windows. The oversized bath was luxurious and very clean. I had a wonderful stay at the Marriott at City Center.
