Visiting just cause...
Location: awesome! Within steps of metro (which is perfect for late night flights in). Walking distance to all major sites. Hop on/off bus stops in front of hotel. Food: Really good especially the burgers! Starbucks in hotel! Hotel: Really friendly staff. Wished the room had a mini fridge (why did hotels stop offering this??). Walls are kinda thin so hopefully you have quiet neighbors.

Where was a hair dryer equipped?
It was certainly a 4-star hotel. Location is perfect. Room is clean. Unfortunately I could not find a hair dryer and it was somewhat a noisy floor during my last stay.

Great locale
Close to the Metro and the DC club scene. You will love it. The food at Fire and Sage was excellent. And if you want a great restaurant off the property Coco Sala was excellent.

great Value, great hotel!
The service and room quality was greast. The staff were all extremely warm and welcoming. Each person I encountered greeted me. The bellman was polite and helpful. The room was a tremendous value. Food in the dining room was good, except for the wings. They were a disappointment, but the service was good. I will defginitely return.

Trip to DC
It was great, A lot more than I was expecting. The only thing I did not like was the parking. 38.00 a day for parking, a bit much, however not a bad trade for being walking distances from all the DC action!! But the Hotel was top notch all the way, free access to the exercise room and the indoor pool. It truly was great.

Frequent DC Visitor
Pay extra for internet access?!!
The staff was very friendly and courteous, the room was very clean and comfortable, but I have major problems with a hotel of Marriott's calibre charging $12.95 per day for wired internet access in the room. In this day and age that's like charging for the little soap and shampoo. In-room internet access should be expected, just like toiletries. I also had a bit of a problem with cell phone coverage--it sporadically varied from none at all to 4 bars. Lastly, I was also surprised that there was not a small refrigerator in the room. Room was only $99 in the heart of DC, though, so that is an exceptionally good price.

Fun getaway
Great hotel. Close to all the sites. Close to the metro. Perfect for those who want to walk to all the major sites or for those who like to experience the metro. The staff was very friendly. Room was clean. Close to many restaurants that are for all tastes.

Lone Travel Lady
Fantastic stay at Washington Marriott MC
It was a very nice experience. Aurora, the concierge was fantastic. I visited the museums, ate nice meals, took an evening tour. I wish the property had a spa but other than that it was nice. I stayed in room 1107 and it was clean had a nice view of the court yard which I requested. I will be back in August 2011 for the same number of stays at this propoerty.
