Weekend away
Good location, lots of good restaurants nearby. Although at night stay on the beaten path where there are police cars are parked with lights on every 1.5 blocks (hint) They gave me my room early!! They not only take dogs but are very nice to them)))) Neg: No mini bar, poor soundproofing! Room card keys constantly malfunctioning at exec. floor on elevator, at room, constantly locked out and had to get new keys at LEAST once a day. No spa for massage!! Arranged out call with concierge, they were very unprofessional, not good, and very expensive. Valet parking mandatory and $43 a day ridiculous. For $350 a night, not the level of service or accommodation I would expect.

Decent
Initially, room smelled of smoke (supposed to be non-smoking). Alternate room provided but did not have king-sized bed. No fridge in room - would have been handy given there was a heat wave on!

Great hotel in great location!
We got our room for a great price for DC. The location was perfect for us and within walking distance of lots of shops and restaurants. The room was very clean and comfortable with a nice view on the 8th floor. We self parked our car in the hotel garage where is stayed while we were in DC. Everything was perfect. We look forward to staying here again.

Nice location and friendly staff
I went on a business trip and stayed one night there. The staff members were friendly and very responsive whenever I called for assistance. The hotel is located just a few blocks away from Dupont Circle, so it is very convenient in terms of dining and shopping. This was actually the second time that I stayed here.

If its a business trip good..tourist not!
This is clearly a business oriented hotel.Lots of extra fees and charges on room service(fine if the company is paying.$16.00 for coffee) as well as a little out of the way for monuments and museums. Also the walk to some of the rooms from the lobby is not to be believed! Due to the height restrictions in DC this giant hotel is very verticle.Several blocks just to get to the street!

Favorite DC Hotel
Love the location of this hotel. Excellent French restaurant (Cafe du Coin) on Conn. Ave., coffee shop and Chinese restaurant called Ping Pong at Dupont Circle -- all within a 5 minute walk. The area is safe; taxis out front; all sites within a short ride or stroll. Staff at the front door are welcoming.
