Excellent location, close to metro, friendly staff, clean rooms

Our experience at the Washington Court Hotel was absolutely awesome. The location was great--only 2 blocks to Union Station. The up side was that on the way to Union Station, it was slightly uphill, which was fine because in the morning you were full of energy, then in the evenings, when you were wore out, it was down hill all the way to the room! The staff was very friendly. We asked a lot of questions regarding tours, etc. and they were always happy to help. Our room and the hotel in general was very clean and the beds were comfortable. I can't comment on any of the restaurants because we didnt eat there. I honestly cannot find one negative thing to say about our stay--and since I am usually a very picky traveler, this is definately out of the ordinary. I highly recommend this hotel!

Definately take the Metro rail. It is very safe and it is the fastest, cheapest and easiest way to get around DC.

Great location

The hotel was ideally located and the room was quite nice. A light bulb was out in one of the lamps but someone came to replace it immediately after we called. Nice size bathroom with plenty of space. The only thing that was lacking was there was never a conceirge. Everytime we had questions the front desk was not always able to help.

amazing location

The very first thing I noticed but Washington Court, being my first experience with a hotel of this caliber, they couldn't do enough to be helpful. I arrived on my pride and joy Harley, they made sure my bike was safe and secure. The second thing I noticed, they inquired the reason for my visit. They anticipated that I needed to visit the Concert that evening and I'm gratful. I will be back to DC and will return to Washington Court. The combination was memorable and worth repeating. Mike

excelent hotel

(sorry about my english) the only problem that we have in our visit was in the check in. my wife asked about some kind of breakfast that she supoused we have included in our tour. the young woman who was in the front desk say: I don't know what are she talking about, but if she ned a breakfast, she can find a Starbucks Coffe across the street. It was september 1 at 12,00m more less. I think it was not a correct answer. Except that, the Hotel is excelent, and the Staff is excelent to. I dont think that only one wrong persson is important to give a very good oppinion about this hotel. The room is very nice, the decoration is perfect and elegant. we are architects and we can apreciate that.

Just Great!

the room had everything you could imagine...even a small TV in the bathroom. The beds were comfortable and there was more than adequate space for haning clothes. The location was close to downtown and the Mall. The hotel had a very nice dining room and a separate bar. There was a discount for staying on Sunday. so, it worked out GREAT!
