Walking distance to all sites
The Washington Court Hotel was very comfortable, the room was clean and quiet. My husband loved the t.v. in the bathroom. The location was great-- it was walking distance to Union Station, the Capitol, and all museums and attractions. There many dining choices very close in both the Station and surrounding neighborhood.

Great Location/Helpful Staff
The Washington Court was a great location for seeing all spectacular sights. We could walk, catch the bus, and Union Station was just a couple of blocks away. Several restaurants were near the area ,and walking at night was comfortable. The staff was excellent, especially the gentlemen at the entrance.

good value
We (my wife and I) enjoyed the Capitol Hill location of the Washington Court Hotel, and it is also close to Union Station. Very peasant stay because of a friendly staff, great restaurant, and nice bathrooms in the deluxe rooms. The beds were not up to the standards of the rest of the hotel. We enoyed our four day week-end stay in comfort and would return again.

Super
Washington Court was a wonderful place to stay. Everyone was very friendly and customer service was a high priority. Bathroom was nice size and made getting everyone ready in the morning easier. Plenty of closet and drawer space for everyone to unpack. My husband needed a refrigerator for medication and within minutes of checking in one was brought to our room. We were in Washington to visit our son that was interning, he instantly recognized the building because he had attended various meetings there.

Great location
The Washington Court Hotel has a great location allowing exploration of major sites in D.C. on foot. The hotel is very comfortable and the rooms are well maintained. The location that is so close to Union Station provides easy access to transportation, dining, shopping and tours. I would not stay anywhere else in D.C.

Very nice hotel.
The hotel was safe, clean and inexpensive (since I stayed in Washington during August, which is when the hotel rates in the city drop). The aforementioned factors are all that I care about when it comes to a hotel. However, for those of you who prefer more amenities, the room that I stayed in was very large and the marble bathroom was very impressive. So the hotel was quite nice.

Shopping tip:
Long walk from hotel
For the rare person who is interested in science. Reiters (sp?), located in the vicinity of 20th and K streets is an excellent bookstore that specializes in science books. It also has a fine selection of economics books (which, of course, hardly qualifies as a science:)).

Love the location
Our first stay at a 4-star hotel was an excellent experience. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was well kept, comfortable with a very well-appointed and spacious bathroom. We really loved the fitness center. It had an extensive array of equipment far beyond the usual bike, treadmill, universal weight machine centers in most hotels. The central location of the hotel allows for easy walking to the National Mall or downtown for shopping and dining. I would definitely stay at the Washington Court Hotel again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant stay downtown with great amenities.
