Excellent location!!
The location of this hotel can not get any better!!! Just a block away from the Capitol and from the Union Station!!! Even the Double Decker Bus stops at the hotel just next to the Washington Court Hotel! The lobby and rooms are looking very inviting, pleasant and the staff were very friendly. We did not have the chance to dine in the hotel's restaurant so I can not comment about that. Conclusion: I would recommend this hotel to anybody visiting Washington DC for pleasure or even business.

amazing location
The very first thing I noticed but Washington Court, being my first experience with a hotel of this caliber, they couldn't do enough to be helpful. I arrived on my pride and joy Harley, they made sure my bike was safe and secure. The second thing I noticed, they inquired the reason for my visit. They anticipated that I needed to visit the Concert that evening and I'm gratful. I will be back to DC and will return to Washington Court. The combination was memorable and worth repeating. Mike

The Washington Court Hotel has
The Washington Court Hotel has been the place we always stay when in DC because of its convenient location. Situated by Union Station (the major train station) and the Capitol. There are rooms with a view of the Capitol. These are our favorites. Close proximity to Constitution Avenue & the National Mall. Great for seeing all of the monuments along the National Mall, as well as all the museums along the way. The lobby is beautiful with airy skylights. The hotel restaurant has a terrace, from which you can dine and look out onto the open lobby. Lovely hotel throughout. Very comfy beds! Staff was extremely cordial and accommodating. Warning to fellow travelers: Not many restaurants are open late around the hotel. Most restaurants and the food court at Union Station close relatively early. You may have to eat at the hotel restaurant or eat before returning to the hotel if you're out late site seeing.

Washington Court Hotel-Washington, D.C.
The prices for meals in the dining room were quite high. Also, since we traveled by train, we depended on cab, which also was quite unreasonable. We wondered why some sort of shuttle service was not provided to Union Station, since so many activities originate from there. Staff was quite pleasant and helpful.

Very convenient place to stay
Most of all, it is located near to the Union Station. Very convenient to hop on the tour bus or take metro since we used both of them. Hotel was very nice and good setting. Especially, we loved our breakfast over there. We had a buffet for all of us and we got so much full that we had a very small lunch on the way of tour..save time...more time for tour...

Don't book the double decker associated with the hotel. You can book tickets on whichever bus arrives. Front desk was a bit dense. Otherwise. It was a nice hotel. Close to Union Station. THOUGH get directs before you get to dc, so you can walk if you choose

A Grand Experience
The Washington Court is a class act from start to finish. Well groomed doormen meet you with a smile and lead you to the front desk (which has two fabulous glass sculptures behind it!), where you are treated like royalty. The ambience of the place is one of tranquility and gentility. The bar and restaurant are also first class. The rooms are well appointed. An overall GRAND experience!

Business Trip to Washington DC
Close to Union Station and the Convention Center. I arrived very early (on Amtrak, the civilized way to travel to DC or Boston from NY). The front desk greeted me cordially and pre-checked me in with a hold on a King, top floor. They held my suitcase and overcoat and I wasn't able to return till 10;00pm. Room was great. Grabbed a great salad and a bar pizza (made as I requested, want on the menu). Bar staff were very friendly with everyone. Bed was great, bathroom was as well. I would go back in a minute.

Grab a quick but good snack or meal at the bar. When I travel alone, it's always better than sitting alone in the restaurant.
