The Westin Washington, D.C., City Center is centrally located in D.C.'s business district and within walking distance to Dupont Circle and the White House. The large hotel appeals to business and leisure travelers. It is covered with skylights and features the modern, sleek decor and furnishings. A great hotel experience
Staff was very friendly and the restaurant food was great. It was a bit further from the monuments than I was expecting but still it was only a 5-10 cab ride from the hotel. Overall the hotel was exactly what we were looking for.

Nice hotel great price
Bell boys should be more friendly with all the clients. No differences between walking people and limousine people. 3 1/2 streets walking distance from metro station.

Great Location & Lovely Room
The room was on the 4th floor, and featured a king bed, chaise, chair, a flat screen mounted TV, and an amazing bath with 2 heads in the shower. My wife and I want the bed and the shower at home! We stayed to visit D.C. for the weekend. The Westin was about 4 blocks of a walk from the Metro & just a 2 stop ride to the Museums & Memorials of the Mall. Food was a couple of blocks of a walk. Caribou Coffee was right on the corner. When we entered the room, a bulb was out and one of the chains to one of the 3 shades was on the floor. Immediately a gentleman came in for a repair. He changed the bulb, then called down to hotel staff when he realized the chain would take more than a few minutes to fix. We were offered an immediate room switch. The staff could not have done more to be accommodating. We chose to stay in the room, and it was wonderful & worth it. We are planning to head back soon for another weekend.

Was impressed with overall look of hotel and staff was very helpful. Location is not that bad for the rate I got. I could be wrong but I think it was 7-8 blocks from white house. Defintely take the tour trolley worth every cent. The only drawback from this trip was that upon arrival the hotel gave me an awesome oversize king room which i reluctantly had to give up (and ask for another room which was just as nice but not as big) due to some unexpected emergency repair work going on next door which vibrated through the walls. But I recommend this hotel if you wanna visit D.C.

Very good hotel, good location. But the parking was rip-off. The charged an overnight parking fee of $40. We could not park it ourselves due to some construction, which would have cost us about $18.

Good hotel, but a bit pricey
The hotel stay was good. We enjoyed the quiet and peaceful atmosphere, despite the busy location of the hotel. The hotel is a bit expensive, but I guess you have to pay for the prime location.

Wonderful Location
