I booked on [website] and stayed

I booked on [website] and stayed several nights at the Westin due to proximity to work. A corner cafe and CVS store are close. Rooms are spacious, bed comfortable, linen crisp and clean, coffee maker with Starbucks coffee in the room, AC adjustable and not noisy. The only shortfall in my view is that the shower is in the bath and the showerhead cannot be detached. Albeit overall a good hotel, I wouldn't stay there privately because I think it's over-priced. Neither breakfast nor WiFi was included in the rate.

DC - okay

Overall the experience was great, wish it was a little cleaner then what we encountered for the price that we did pay. Also, lighting fixture was not working in the bathroom so that affected the stay as well. Other than that the room was great, bed was comfortable, staff was friendly.

It was a great location downtown. It would have been nice to have a spa available, however, it was a nice stay.

Way a great way to spend the weekend!

Walked over over DC from this point - could catch the M from there, or walk to museums. Great restaurant selection close as well.

A bit too far from the Sightseeing

Saw all the usual sightseeing attractions there, recommend reserving free Washington Monument tickets before your trip and also for the US Capitol.

Summer time visit

The welcome party was great when we first got there. Checked in fine. Went to the room and the door was wide open. Went to tell front desk, she gave us the room next door. Internet is not free! Unpacking noticed trash under the bed. The noisy staff always in the halls and dirty trash and glasses in the hallways the 3 days we were there. I would stay again but staff is no all that. dirty glasses in our room for 3 days.

Great Location, Limited Parking Options

I enjoyed the peacefulness of the room. The bedding was exceptional! The fitness center was very clean with plenty of water, towels and magazines. The exercise equipment was updated and in great working condition. Unfortunately, due to the location, D.C., parking is a challenge. Maybe the guest(s) could be offered a self-parking option.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

The Corner Stone for breakfast is affordable and tasty. The focus is buffet-- from fruit (including exotic) to traditional American style breakfast. Price is determined by weight (of food). The tables are clean and the workers are friendly. The Corner Stone has self-seating.
