Business trip/meeting on site

The staff at the DC Westin are all so friendly and courteous. The room was very clean, the bed comfortable. The only thing I would suggest changing are providing free internet in all the rooms and the meeting rooms.

Very nice business hotel

Excellent location for my business trip. Professional, courteous staff. Room was very nice, bed was excellent--very comfortable. Only critique is would have liked a restaurant separate from the bar. Food was good, but staffing was too low for demand. The server did a very good job, just was too many folks for one person.

Great Location

The room, staff, service, etc. is not bad at all, I give it a 3.5 out of 5 but the location is great! One bad thing is that they did not have free wi-fi in the rooms. Had to pay for a 24 hour wifi service.

First Class - highly recommend

Check in was easy. I needed additional information regarding a meeting location and it was provided to me when I got to my room. The room was spotless. The meeting rooms had good air control (not too hot, not freezing). Good sound system. Good food at breaks. Very pleasant stay. Would highly recommend for conferences.

A great value for money

We spent a long weekend in Washington, DC, exploring the sights. The room was clean and comfortable, and I loved the rainfall showerhead. We especially appreciated being within walking distance of so many great restaurant — and within walking distance of a Metro stop that took us to all the top sights. The hotel isn't particularly romantic or trendy but it was seriously comfortable. I slept really well after a few long days of walking.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Le Diplomate is a brief walk from the Westin and has an excellent French brunch. Highly recommend it!

double charge for the room

Very nice and big room. However at the morning they charged me (in addition to payment done via the web site). Had to argue in order to get money back (I hope since they refused to provide hard copy proof)
