With Young Children

This hotel is probably better suited to a business traveler or couple. The room size is small and doesn't lend itself to small children. There were no extra blankets/pillows stocked in the room so we made due with what was there. The location is great, easy access to the Metro and Georgetown.

It's Great for the price

The hotel has a good location for Foggy Bottom and Dupont Circle. The hotel room was small but clean, the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was awesome. The hotel is showing its age though. The room's wallpaper was pulling off of the wall, and the toilet didn't flush well. Beware that the shades are see-through. If you want privacy from busy M Street, you need to close the curtains. Figured that one out the hard way!

Nightlife tip: Short walk from hotel

Apex is 5 blocks away or so. Great bar, but busy on Pride night.

Great DC experience

The hotel is located on hotel row and it is an easy 5-10 minute walk from the Foggy Bottom Metro Station. I had a great stay and would recommend it to a friend. Very close to great food and the sights.

Excellent location and value

The hotel appears to have undergone a recent renovation. It was very clean and nicely decorated. It is a very quick walk to Georgetown and many restaurants. The only negative is that the lobby is very poorly laid out and while standing in line to either check in or out people going to, or coming from the elevator have to move through people waiting in line. Very frustrating for all, espcially in the morning around check-out time. Warning: don't touch ANYTHING on the amenities tray in your room or it will show up on your bill. This happened to me and when I told the desk clerk that I didn't have anything he questioned, sounding like he thought I was lying. It was very irritating and not a good way to do business.
