Great central location!
Rooms were relatively small but comfortable and good enough for us (we weren't in the room that much but only to sleep) as well as being clean. Beds were REALLY comfortable which made it hard for us to get up and out of bed :o). Had dinner at Art & Soul the first night and it was fantastic. The elevators were a little spooky for the "doors open" function did not seem to work in one of them. Bathroom was a little small but roomy enough. Everything is with in walking distance (relatively anyways) especially Union Station which we used to commute almost every where including to and from Dulles. I would definitely comeback to The Liaison if in DC again.

Great value
Booked this for $209 and it was a great deal. Very nice room, super-comfortable bed, my room was very quiet, shower worked great, all typical amenities provided. Near Union Station. For the price, it was excellent.

Nice Trip
Very nice place to stay. The Capitol and Monument were real close. Just be ready for no parking in Washington. The valet service at the hotel was 48.00 a/night. Wow!

Great Hotel for the Price
The hotel was clean, comfortable, and centrally located, but the staff truly set the hotel apart. Every staff member we came in contact with went out of their way to be friendly and helpful, which made for a very enjoyable stay.

Excellent bang for buck
This is a centrally located hotel with modern furnishings. Walkable distance to Union train/metro/bus station and to the Mall area. Our only complaint is that the hotel seems to be short staffed; we came across some minor inconveniences with the night manager and bell boy. But all in all, this is a fantastic place to stay for its price.

nice business trip
The Liason was a nice choice for a brief (one night) business stay. It was a lovely hotel in a good area but a little pricey for my taste. I was made to feel welcome, the room was neat and clean but it was more expensive than nicer hotels in different cities. Of course, D.C. has higher room rates than other larger cities, but it was still a bit steep for me.
