Great location, good pricing

This is a pricey area Dupont Circle. The hotel is a bit tired inside but the rooms seem fine. Breakfast is basic, toast, bagels, cereal, juice coffee. But most hotels in this area are 200+ and rooms can be had for 129. The best thing is this hotel is a 2 minute walk from the Metro.

DC during THE Cherry Blossom season in a week

Hotel is a great location - near Metro, CVS is just around the corner, tons of great dining of all sorts and prices within walking distance as well as entertainment/people watching at nearby Dupont Circle, various embassies and small museums also within walking distances. The rooms were great - nice, clean and quiet (except for the neighbors who kept slamming their doors). The hotel staff were very nice and helpful with needs as well as accommodations (did you know that reservations made through Obitz does not guarantee the room specifications that you thought you requested? only availability. But the staff gave us an additional rolling bed for my sons' king size bedroom#. We enjoyed the free continental breakfast, free Wi-Fi in the rooms and the availability of the swimming pool and the fitness room #although we didn't use them after walking all day throughout DC# We will definitely go back to Embassy Row Hotel on our next trip to DC!

DuPont Circle

Booked a room for me and my 10 year old son...ended up having to share a full sized bed him. We weren't happy. Apparently the hotel was sold out of two bed rooms and since I booked through this website, I wasn't guaranteed beds. Never knew that! At the continental breakfast, we were bombarded by fruit flies. This hotel charges to use the internet on their computers...which must still be on dial up because when I went to print my boarding passes, it took a 1/2 hour to 45 minutes to do something that should take less than 5 minutes. So frustrating to say the least!
