Convenient Location

Great business location just of DuPont Circle...made for a short cab ride to our meetings in NW D.C. There was a large carpet stain in my room, but all else was clean and comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was standard fare, but staff were extremely pleasant and courteous. Internet service is Unsatisfactory. Valet parking (+ tax & gratuity) was >$45/day...more than a bit steep.

Way too expensive parking fee

The only good thing about the hotel is the location, and the only nice persons in the staff are the valet parkings! When you book the hotel nobody tells you that the parking fee is $45.00 + tax, we even asked the frontdesk staff Where else could we park and nobody was able to say anything else but park in the hotel and pay the $45! Until the valets gave us the tip that parking on the street is free at night and that we should just start paying at 7 am $2 per hour until we check out, so we did and we ended up paying $6 for 3 more hours! The hotel is OK overall and breakfast is alright.

Money-saving tip: In Hotel

Park on the street and save money! It's free from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, after that it's $2 per hour, instead of paying $45.00 + tax per day in the hotel parking!!!

It's a room

If you need a room near a Metro station this is a great place. If you need a great lounge, lobby, or bar not so much. The staff were friendly enough, the check in was hassle free, the hotel was quiet.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

One block away there are two pizza joints. Try them both. The one called Paradiso has a great beer selection. The other one, Alberto's has no atmosphere and great pizza. Grab a slice to go. You won't regret it.

Great location for price

This hotel is located one block from DuPont Circle and the metro. Our room was clean, a bit dated, yet a good value! There was a continental breakfast at no cost which was a nice perk! Overall it was a perfect place to stay for a visit to DC.

good location!

I stayed there for 1 night. Everything is perfect except there is no FREE WIFI!! + need to pay in business centre. It's 5 mins from metro subway and is the cheapest one you can get. *Check-out is quick. Just call the front-desk in your room before you leave and you are all set.

The Embassy Row Hotel

The amenities and everything in the room was nice, but our room air conditioner didn’t work. They send up a technician; he just plays around with the controller switch. Four hours later our room still torture hot 82 degree. Finally they agree to switch our room. I was hope they offer better service by switch our room right at the begin.
